Just narrowly avoided a scam on @bookingcom . The apartment asked me via WhatsApp to send money to an account before they would confirm my reservation. And @bookingcom support only picks up the phone if you can supply a confirmation number, so I can't report them. Sigh...
The momentum is continuing to build! In the medium/long term @C2PA_org can do this too, but we can start in a simple way today.

The IPTC has updated its Photo Metadata User Guide to include some best practice guidelines for how to use embedded metadata to signal “synthetic media” content that was created by generative AI systems.
