They say the real treasure are the friends you meet along the way. I've found that the greatest treasure is actually taking the journey with your best friend. Happy 20th anniversary, Lauren. – at Shore Acres, NJ

My breakdown of the 'NARNIA' trailer. 1) Concerned about the Uncle Andrew portrayal 2) More confused on the Aslan-Streep question 3) Don't hate the rock opera thing 4) Meh on Jadis 5) COLOR! A movie with color!

I hope they do! It's not as iconic as Wrigley Field, but we're excited to go see Vanderbilt vs UNC at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC next weekend.

after years of complaining, sharing our criticisms, not approving of the direction star wars is headed… we are still here, watching star wars, discussing it, etc… but why? after everything, what’s the point of still pressing play on the ahsoka trailer? passion.

Star Wars releases in IMAX 70 a few days after my birthday, and then Starfighter a few days before my wife's. It's a sign... – at Cedarwood Park, NJ

Case and PSU arriving Tuesday. MB power adapter arrived yesterday. Hopefully this will work and I won't need a new Motherboard. 🤞 Hopefully I'll be hanging with Hawks by next weekend. – at Cedarwood Park, NJ

I hope everyone has fun playing Zero Company today. The PSU on my gaming PC took a crap last night. Of course it's proprietary, so now I'm looking at a case and MB too.

I don't understand why anyone would crap on this? You have a dude who's owned a comic shop for over 30 years, puts Star Wars references in all his films, and brought the Cinematographer from The Mandalorian to his movie theater to discuss making the film.

Just to clarify what 70mm IMAX is & isn't: 1. Original IMAX venues showed 70mm physical film running HORIZONTALLY (like VistaVision 35mm) with a specially built projector. There are a limited number of theatres worldwide with these projectors. 2. Theatres that commonly showed 70mm films over the last number of decades (Raiders, ET, Star Wars, etc.) projected it VERTICALLY, with STANDARD 70mm projectors. These projectors CANNOT project the IMAX 70mm film format. 3. Nowadays, your local theatre advertising "IMAX" is most likely showing a DIGITAL presentation of IMAX (which emulates the 70mm horizontal film image aspect ratio) using a laser projector. Fun Fact: Most--not ALL--of the 70mm films you saw back in the day were 35mm blowups, and NOT filmed on 65mm film (70mm comes from the extra 5mm added to the width of the theatrical print to make room for the soundtrack). 🎬 #70mm #IMAX #cinephile #odyssey

Will we see more IMAX 70mm screens in the U.S. after #TheOdyssey? "There's certainly more demand, the problem is they haven't made new IMAX film projectors in about 50 years," says IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond. "So we retrofit them, rebuild them and part of our strategy is to see how far we can take it. But certainly, demand-driven, I'd like to see more."
