The greatest praise can come from one’s opponent, especially when that opponent is of the caliber, class, humility & legacy that @7BOOMERESIASON is. Here is what Boomer said about my dad, Clay Matthews, & why his induction into the @ProFootballHOF is overdue.

My dad, Clay Matthews, who played 19 years & holds the record for most games played by an LB in NFL History, has made the first 3 cuts for the @ProFootballHOF Class of 2025. Here’s the legendary, talented Hall of Famer, @CowherCBS , talking about why he deserves to be inducted.

“Don’t work for status, power, wealth, materialism or people’s recognition. All that is very, very temporary. But in all you are and do, work for God’s glory because He will give you an inheritance as your reward.”

Faith and Fear don’t mix well. Like oil and water.
When Fear walks in, Faith walks out. When Faith walks in Fear walks about.
We can choose to be filled with Fear or Faith. Did you know that the Phrase “Fear Not” used 365 times in the Bible? That’s one “Fear Not” for every day of the year!

No disrespect to other LB's in the @ProFootballHOF but for Clay Matthews not to be in IS disrespectful.
It would have been the perfect year for him to go in on the senior selection side.
I guess 2 #Browns going in at the same time would be too much for the league 🤷🏻♂️

Put Clay Matthews in the Hall of Fame. #Browns

he had nice career. Happy for him. There are deserving players not in the hall like Clay Matthews who had one of the best careers of any LB in NFL History who continues to get overlooked.

I’m happy for Zack Thomas. He was a very, very good linebacker! But he’s no Clay Matthews! When will the @NFL & the @ProFootballHOF get it right?!
