This is why a lot of Bears fans are rooting against Tyson Bagent and pretended he played bad on Sunday. These fans are Caleb fans, not Bears fans.
I still don't really have strong Caleb takes, but it is extremely funny watching Bears fans react to this with SAMPLE SIZE!!! even though those same Bears fans were perfectly happy to use week 1 alone to try to prove some point about him

Dang man. Cut Caleb it’s over In all seriousness the prep done by every QB in the room is astounding and I think this gives Caleb a lot of good stuff to learn from
The gap between the Bears' backups in Weeks 3 and 4 and Caleb Williams' career under Ben Johnson is hard to explain by luck alone. Could be the opponents or other factors, but certainly something to closely monitor as sample size grows.

New details are emerging about what a potential Chicago Bears stadium deal could look like as lawmakers continue negotiations on legislation aimed at keeping the team in Illinois. abc7chicago.com/post/chicago…

When looking at Tyson Bagent performance context matters. This guy hadn’t started in 1059 days (longer than Keenum) was coming off a concussion and half the fans wanted Keenum to start. Great operation. Efficient on 3rd down. Good downfield. Excellent first start. #DaBesrs

Ben Johnson put Tyson Bagent in the game today because he feels he gives them the best chance to win. Not for anything else. You either trust Ben or you don't.

Are we here to develop backups or here to win football games Greg? Time to put in the guy that dropped his nuts on the Eagles last week! Tyson is a great story and will have a longish career as a back up, but we can stop with the he’s a top 32 QB talk now right?

I don’t know why everybody gotta dwell on Bagents one interception. We saw lots of interceptions in the playoffs and it didn’t phase us. We move on and try and do better. Team is playing well. Go Bears

App is killing Bagent and I’m almost positive he’s second in the league in passing yards today 😂

[Pre-race in the Ferrari segment] Craig Slater said: “This season Lewis Hamilton looked like a title contender but mere reluctance to prioritise him, now he’s distanced third in the championship with Ferrari well adrift in team standings.” Anyone who genuinely understands the sport can see that Lewis Hamilton was in the championship fight, something Ferrari and a certain section of the fanbase seem unwilling to acknowledge.

The recovery drive Lewis Hamilton put together, the relentless pressure and the way he fought for the podium on a track where driver’s skill matters more than anything else and he did with the fourth fastest car on the grid. The credit for this podium belongs to Lewis Hamilton and Lewis Hamilton only.
