Death sentence for a Facebook post? The case involved what authorities treated as confirmed blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Stop packaging a serious blasphemy case as a harmless social-media post just to manufacture outrage.

Database integrity requires period updating of the database including purging deceased, duplicate and illegally registered voters. Democracy's survival also depends on following the democratic process to change governments, not using extra constitutional means.
'SIR shows democracy’s survival relies not just on protecting ballots but database integrity' Taberez Ahmed Neyazi, Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at the Centre for Trusted Internet & Community, writes #ThePrintOpinion theprint.in/opinion/sir-show…

#SIR has been conducted 11 times between 1952-2004 — roughly once every 5 years — but not once for the past 22 years till the current SIR exercise began in 2025-26. The number of deceased, shifted, absent & undocumented illegals over 2 decades has sharply risen, needing a voter list clean-up. My @TOIPlus column
Will Jantar Mantar 2.0 protest against #SIR, planned by #CJP this Saturday, force #CEC #GyaneshKumar to resign? Yesterday’s unhinged Congress-led street protest failed. SC will now separate the wheat from the chaff, facts from innuendo. My @TOIPlus column

Of the 13 crore voters: • 2.8 crore are deceased • 6.3 crore have relocated • 1 crore are duplicates • 3 crore are absent Even among these, if anyone has an Aadhaar card, they can come and produce the document. I want to ask Congress and Rahul Gandhi: when you refer to 13 crore voters, how are you counting deceased and duplicate voters as eligible voters? - Dr. @SudhanshuTrived Watch full video: youtu.be/40wfHh3SuuU

It's remarkable that a woman can complain about free speech in Britain while supporting execution for blasphemy in Saudi Arabia. This might be one of those paradox of tolerance situations.

Meanwhile our retd 3 star officers are like this. And Modi RS and Doval are standing by at best or are entirely fine with what’s happening.
A yawning gap has opened up in arty capability in India pak context. Pak fields approx 600 155mm tracked SP of M 109 variety and has inducted around 250 Chinese SH15 155mm MGS. And reportedly plans to induct around 500. With our prevarication, we have only 100 K9 155 tracked

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 “𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢”! 🚨 Abhishek Banerjee is staging a “Vote Chori” protest in Delhi. But look at this photograph from his Diamond Harbour constituency during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP button on the EVM is covered with tape. And now the same TMC is lecturing the nation on “stolen votes.” 😂 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐜𝐫𝐲 “𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢.” 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Congress and TMC’s hypocrisy speaks for itself.

Modi's understanding of building military capabilities is zilch.
Any self respecting country / govt would have given Kalyani forge $5-6 bn in orders, taken a small position in the company, funded it's R&D to a certain extent and champion them in every deal possible with every single country that's on the market for arty systems. What does Modiji do? Buy Korean crap and ignores Kalyani forge. Maybe if Adani acquired Kalyani forge the orders might flow?

The IDF painstakingly researched and provided a military ID number, rank and unit for every one of the 170 supposed journalists who were actually Hamas or Islamic Jihad terrorists. Much of this information was gleaned from the terrorist groups' own "martyr notices." That's what Albanese means by "not a shred of evidence." It's like 2026 Goebels with her.

Rahul Gandhi is not saving democracy. He is trying to spread anarchy. The Election Commission’s press note of 6 October is clear. Till 4 pm, no party had sought a meeting. Around 4 pm, Delhi Police informed the Commission that a delegation led by Rahul Gandhi wanted to submit a memorandum. The demand that reached ECI was for 240 MPs, at Parliament House Annexe, not at Nirvachan Sadan. Protocol, set in 2025 and followed by every party, is simple: authorised representative, mutually fixed time, meeting inside the Commission. A crowd at another building is not a meeting. It is an attempt to corner the Commission. ECI still offered something unprecedented: its senior-most serving officer would come and receive the memorandum. Even that was rejected. Intention was never to meet the Election Commissioners. Intention was spectacle. A defeated, desperate opposition that cannot win public trust has chosen anarchy over process.

Sivarasa Anojan, a 24-year-old Tamil migrant worker from Sri Lanka, is facing the death penalty in Saudi Arabia over a social-media comment he deleted within minutes and later apologised for. The case began with a stray dog named Subramani, who joined Sri Lanka’s annual Pada Yatra, a Hindu pilgrimage to the Kataragama Murugan temple. After a video showed a Muslim man kicking the dog, a heated religious dispute erupted on Facebook. Anojan, then working in Saudi Arabia, responded in Tamil to a post insulting a Hindu deity. His comment was deemed insulting to the Prophet Muhammad. A screenshot was translated into Arabic and reported to Saudi authorities. An Al-Ahsa court initially sentenced him to five years in prison and a fine of three million riyals under cybercrime laws. On appeal, prosecutors pursued a Sharia penalty, and in September 2026 an appellate court sentenced him to death. Sri Lankan officials are seeking diplomatic intervention and a royal pardon. Reports in early October said Anojan also suffered head injuries in an alleged attack by fellow inmates while on death row.

No. What changed was the ability to dictate who it must retain and who it must not.
🚨 BLAST FROM THE PAST: Then Law Minister Kapil Sibal's 2013 Vote Deletion logic he needs to see himself😂 Back then, Sibal said voter deletion was HARDLY a BIG ISSUE: > “You can any day go to the Electoral Registration Office and say, register us. We are here.”🤣 He explained deletions could happen if a voter: • Moved away • Was registered in another constituency • Had died His argument was simple: If your name disappears, go and get it restored🤡 Fast-forward to today. Same guy now presents electoral-roll revision as an existential THREAT to democracy!! So what changed, the voter list, or the politics around it?

How many remember the preclimax scene of Rang De Basanti?
Akash Vani Bhawan attempt is not a joke, although the opposition is. Striking at and controlling the means of communication is serious, colour revolution, funds flown from abroad, regime change attempt sort of serious.

If the state gives up its monopoly on violence, there will be anarchy.
One resignation separates "Gyanesh, it's done bro!" and "Modi, it's done bro!". Cops running askance while louts rule the roost has become a visual all too familiar. Start wielding the power you have or make way for someone who knows how to wield it. Or else we will believe they have figured you out better than your own supporters.

After Silchar in Assam (BJP+ 34 / Rahul 02), in Tripura Congress is totally wiped out (BJP+ 4320 / Rahul 14). Does @RahulGandhi know that while he threatens BJP with ‘destruction’ his Congress is getting decimated in elections held with ballot papers and without ECI or CEC?
