Mayor Adams - who has regularly & falsely claimed that crime was up in NYC & needed more police; who implemented more strict policies for people experiencing homelessness, locking countless up - is under federal indictment, and his top staff are under federal investigation.
In 2022, I brought my young son to NYC for a long weekend trip. At one point, we got breakfast sandwiches and, with no public benches or seating around, we sat down on a sidewalk near a big office building, on a block with no retail stores and barely any foot traffic… (1/4)
NYC’s Mayor Adams has implemented some of the more stringent anti-homeless policies in recent years, citing increased criminality, despite crime being down in the city/US. Now his administration, including the NYPD, is being investigated for corruption & bribery by the FBI. (3/4)

The final moment of Sonya Massey’s murder is circulating, but the beginning of their interaction is equally sickening. Her first words to them “Don’t hurt me”. Grayson (her murderer) replies “Why would we hurt you? You called us” and talks to her in a disrespectful, mocking tone.
This week, in the US, it became easier for an unhoused person to go to jail for sleeping outside and harder for a treasonous President to be held accountable in any way. #SCOTUS
