Tl;dr: community involves all parties, and I’m really tired of seeing so many readers talk about how fandom is community driven when you guys don’t treat writers as a part of that community. Writers are not upset about credit, they’re upset about being reduced to content.

Understand while ao3 is down, writers are getting 0 recognition during this time. No happy emails about kudos or comments, no checking to see if anyone glanced at their fic that day etc I've seen my fics in people's drives already, I'm okay with it atm but if you do read my or someone else's work through the dealings going on Please PLEASE go show that writer love. Let them know you appreciated it etc and when ao3 comes back leave a kudos or comment or both
