we like to make fun of russian disinfo as obvious & ineffective but the khelif thing is a clear example of success - started by a corrupt russian IBO official (Kremlev) whose org was bankrolled by a russian corp (Gazprom) & who started the rumor after Khelif beat a russian boxer

It’s so funny how the qualifier “English” is obviously seen as essential in all these kinds of tweets but not “men’s”

🧵👇🏼are we here once more!
Section 28 didn’t come out of nowhere. It came from a society where 75% thought homosexuality was wrong. From a society that feared the sight of a man in drag would corrupt. From a society that believed ignorance was better for children than any knowledge of gay lives. 🧵 1/16

I love Chelsea. I hate homophobic abuse. Please call out your friends and RT this to get it to the wider Chelsea family. I’m fed up of hearing these chants or others at Chelsea games. Be better.

Fuckin ghouls, how are you supposed to plan a day out on a budget; if you have school age kids, the kids you;d be taking to these attractions, the chances are you're going to be forced to go at these times. The zero hours, gig economy, Uber model has ruined everything.
BUSINESS: Merlin Entertainments, which owns Legoland, Sea Life and Madame Tussauds, is planning to introduce surge pricing where visitors are charged more during peak periods, with the change applying to its top global attractions by the end of 2024.

JK Rowling casually dropping her loose change on a crowdfund to change the definition of sex in the Equality Act, which would strip trans people of their legal protections & cause untold suffering. Rowling’s transphobia is blisteringly clear.

**THREAD** from on the ground in Gaza. RT’ing is cosmically incommensurate. But this is a monumental catastrophe that is on a trendline to genocide. It is horrifying and won’t even work on its own terms. Mass murder of civilians is begetting even more mass murder.
The Gaza Strip is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe since 1967. 2,300 lost their lives. This is what arrived at the hospitals. There are hundreds of people who were buried under the rubble and no one could reach them.

“We need to see pain in the economy. Unemployment needs to jump 40-50%. Employees think employers should be thankful for them, we need to kill that.” I’ll be real, I wish more CEOs talked this way. Labor would be far stronger and their lives far worse.
