The demand for more and more experiences shows the inward poverty of man

Finding is just the end of looking.

Today is Guru Pradosh, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, while also invoking the blessing of Brihaspati (Jupiter) the deva guru.
Pradosh Ashtakam, 3rd verse
Ye vai pradosha samaye parameswarasya,
Kurvanthyananya mansangri saroja poojaam,
Nithya pravrudha thara puthra kalathra mithra,
Soubhagya sambadadhikastha ihaiva loke. || 3 ||
Anyone who prays to Lord Shiva during the sacred time of Pradosh - offering at his lotus feet with a completely focused mind will be deeply blessed. Along with their family and friends, they will enjoy a life filled with endless good fortune and happiness in abundance.

I have a similar position.
The benefits of studying Vedic texts outweigh any man-made logic.
You study the Bhagavad Gita or the Srimad Bhagavatam, implement their teachings as much as you can, and you will feel energized, happier, wiser, and clearer, 100% guaranteed.
I truly believe there is magic in those texts, and when you read them, your frequency starts to change.
The only requirement is an open heart and an open mind.
You could prove to me tomorrow that every god I worship was completely made up and it honestly wouldn’t change a fucking thing for me.
The teachings still work. The wisdom is still there and the Gita would still be gold. The practices would still change the way I think, live and treat people.
I don’t need Krishna or Shiva to pass a DNA test for any of it to matter. Maybe the gods were real, maybe they were symbols, maybe they were both.
I really don’t care. If the story leads you to something true, then the truth does not disappear just because the story cant be proven.

Just saw an Instagram reel that said:
“At some point you become the age that your parents were in your childhood memories, only you don’t feel like an adult, and you realize your parents were still just kids trying to figure it out too”
And that shit just fucked me up.

I remember 20 years ago arguing on various forums with atheists and scientists that modern science and modern medicine are behind far eastern science by at least a few thousand years.
They all looked at me as a lunatic.
Yet, the case is stronger than ever.
Technological advancements don't discover anything new; they only reveal what was known before but long forgotten.
Or deliberately destroyed.

3,000 years of Indian philosophy
already mapped the human mind.
Modern neuroscience is just now catching up.
Same conclusions. Different language.
I love cross-referencing ancient texts with the latest papers. Here’s the exact reading list that will rewire how you see consciousness, self and reality:

A soul can "walk" into the center of the sun and be perfectly fine.
Which brings us to a logical conclusion - the sun is full of intelligent beings :-)

Life will always appear to be short , irrespective of when we leave be it 20 or 80 years of age . One will always be leaving in middle of unfinished businesses and dreams . The moment one stops worrying about the TIME of our stay , one begins to LIVE. Death is life . Live.

Migration out of India seeded the ancient world.
Two hills in southwest Ireland are named after a Rig Veda goddess. They are called the Paps of Danu. Every spring, farmers lit fires around them and drove cattle between the flames for protection. The Vedas describe the same ritual.
Danu is the Rig Veda mother goddess of the flowing waters. Her name is written into the geography of half of Eurasia. The Danube. The Dniester. The Dnieper. The Don. The Donau. Greek Demeter. Northern Greeks once called themselves the Dannuni. In Ireland, the pre-Christian pantheon called itself the Tuatha de Danaan. Children of Danu.
The mainstream story that pale steppe nomads invaded India around 1500 BC and imposed Sanskrit on a dying Indus Valley civilisation has been steadily dismantled over the last thirty years. The recent genetic and linguistic papers still cited in its defence describe contact at the edges, not replacement at the centre.
The direction of travel runs the other way. Out of India, in pulses, over thousands of years.
Iran took the name of the people, Aryans. Ahura Mazda is the Vedic Asura. The magi are the Vedic magoi.
The Germanic and Slavic pulse moved overland from the ninth millennium BC. They carried the sky-father Dyaius, who became Tyr in Scandinavia, Zeus in Greece, Deus in Rome.
The Italo-Celtic pulse moved by sea from the seventh millennium. When the Celtic branch turned up the Atlantic coast around 5,400 BC, it left place names all the way from Iberia to Ireland. Portugal. Galicia. Gaul. Pays de Galles. Cornwall. Galloway. Galway.
Then the Sarasvati river dried around 2000 BC. A military wave moved west into the Near East. The Kassites ruled Babylonia for 500 years. The Mitanni signed a treaty with the Hittite king Suppiluliuma in 1380 BC swearing by Mitra, Varuna, Indra and the Nasatyas. Four Vedic gods, on a Hittite tablet, thirteen centuries before the earliest date the invasion theory allows for the Vedas.
The Greeks came in the same window. Zeus is Dyaius. When Alexander crossed the Hindu Kush he met people at Nysa claiming descent from Dionysus. Some of their heroes, they said, had come this way.

“Do not do what you want, then you may do what you like.”
Most people think freedom means doing whatever they feel like doing. Sleep when you want. Eat what you want. Spend what you want. Trade when you feel like it. Skip the workout. Avoid the difficult conversation. Chase the next distraction.
But every time you blindly obey what you want in the moment, you slowly lose the ability to live the life you actually want in the long run.
The man who cannot say no to comfort becomes controlled by comfort.
The trader who cannot resist FOMO becomes controlled by the market.
The person who cannot put down the phone becomes controlled by attention.
The person who cannot control food, sleep, anger, lust, or impulses eventually becomes a servant to them.
So first, learn not to do what you want.
Train when you don’t feel like training.
Stay silent when your ego wants to react.
Walk away when greed tells you to chase.
Sleep when your mind wants another hour of stimulation.
Save when your impulse wants to spend.
Wait when everyone else is rushing.
Every small “no” to an impulse strengthens your ability to choose.
And eventually something strange happens
You become free.
Now you can do what you like, because your desires no longer command you. You command them.
That is the paradox
Discipline looks like restriction in the beginning. But discipline is what eventually gives you freedom.
The forest is life. It is full of temptations, distractions, fear, greed and beautiful-looking wrong paths.
Before entering it again, remember
Master yourself first. Then the world gives you far more freedom to choose your path.

One night he wandered near a Muslim ruler's camp. The women screamed. The ruler, furious, sliced off his arm with a sword.
The sage didn't flinch. Didn't make a sound.
Just turned and walked away like nothing had happened. The ruler realized what he'd done and chased him down, begging forgiveness.
The sage came out of his trance, saw the man's distress, touched the wound and the arm grew back.
Before walking into the forest again, he wrote one line in the sand:
Do not do what you want, then you may do what you like.

Claiming Advaita as renunciatory is incomplete description of the same.
Renunciation yes , but of the mental afflictions-vrittis, only this.
Anything advocating Renunciation is half in itself , Ramana’s silence is the answer .

CONSCIOUSNESS is the only UNIVERSAL REALITY, THAT OF UNITARY SELF-AWARENESS AS THE ESSENCE OF ALL.
You can never know your Self, you can only be your true Self-Nature beyond time and space.
WITHOUT THE BOUNDLESS DIMENSION OF CONSCIOUSNESS, THERE ARE NO OTHER DIMENSIONS BUT ONLY ILLUSIONS OF BODY, SENSES AND MIND.

Quick steps:
1. Active recall > rereading; close the book, write what you remember, then check
2. Spaced repetition; review at 1, 3, 7, 16-day gaps
3. Feynman technique: explain it simply out loud; where you stumble = what to restudy
4. One-pointed sessions; 25-50 min, one subject, phone away, single intention before you start
5. Interleave topics, don't block them; mix problem types, matches how exams actually test
6. Skim for structure first, then reread for depth; gives details a skeleton to stick to
7. Sleep; memory consolidates during sleep, all-nighters undo the cramming
Scattered Attention = Scattered Memory.
One-pointed, spaced, recalled attention is what actually sticks.
