Things people with anxiety wish you knew:
- We can’t control it
- Telling me to ‘relax’ isn’t helpful
- It is crippling
- Sometimes (most the time) we feel anxious for no reason at all
- We are trying our best
- We appreciate the small things you do for us,like ordering our food

People with anxiety will literally question everything. Every blunt or short-ended text you send, we read between the lines and often take the worse case scenario. Being straight with us is really important so we aren’t constantly guessing what you mean.

Mental health struggles can affect anyone, from any background, any age & at any time.
It's important that we normalise mental health, so we all feel comfortable in reaching out for help & talking about it when we are struggling.
End the stigma 💜

Still so many people are afraid to talk about mental health and suicide. There is still a taboo around it. Please know that talking about it saves lives. We talk about breaking our arm, we understand when it is a physical illness, but when it comes to our brain people shy away
We made page 3 of The Sentinel @Sotlive today with the launch of our ScarSpeak group!
The first meeting is set to take place on Tuesday, June 4, from 6:30pm to 8pm.
Anyone interested in the group can email Luke on [email protected] for further information.
