Turns out OxygenOS doesnt support external DACs too well. So much for vendor lock-in @oneplus

REA can reverse engineer proprietary apps, but RE has always been present. This is where Legal comes into play to protect such products. Also it’s impossible to achieve the same quality with agents without enormous costs (rn)

some people in my life proved to me that, you cannot reach a reliable conclusion about their potential from their present circumstances.

Our dashboard told a team of 30 that only 20% of their AI sessions used a skill. Everyone believed it. I didn't. Three counting bugs, stacked in one number. Real figure: 56%. A metric that assumes one right route lies in the direction you already fear.

context rot’s turning the whole thing upside down! they took the question they were worst at answering and built one agent for it, then another. as a fairly junior engineer that’s the part i’ll actually remember.
Early on you're supposed to do things that don't scale. Ours was listening to every customer call & writing down what we heard, one at a time. The full story on how all that became the Intel Engine, & then a fleet of agents.

I have a tendency to help people until they succeed, whether they like it or not. is that a bad thing?

Found this gem of a video from my linkedin feed: The key to “using AI without letting it think for you” is letting it do divergent thinking tasks like exploration and discovery whilst humans connect pieces and ideas on their own and use AI to polish it. youtube.com/watch?v=djGCytw0…
