🚨Attention Liquid Marketplace Users 🚨
As you may know, the PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator was previously listed on Liquid Marketplace, where users could purchase tokens that, according to the company, represented fractional ownership interests in the card.
In May 2024, consistent with the platform's terms, I repurchased the card. I paid a substantial buyout amount to the platform, which was intended to be distributed to fractional owners based on their respective percentages. I was informed at the time that the funds had been distributed accordingly.
Unfortunately, afterward, the company and some of its principals faced regulatory scrutiny — a process in which I have had no involvement or insight, as it does not relate to me.
I recently learned that the platform also experienced operational issues, which affected user access to accounts and funds held on the platform. As a result, many Liquid Marketplace users have been unable to access their buyout proceeds or wallet balances, with no clear timeline for resolution.
For those affected and unable to withdraw your funds: Please know that I am actively working with Liquid Marketplace to help ensure these funds can be released in the near future, just as intended when I repurchased the Illustrator in May 2024. Stay tuned for updates

Your life is full of systems.
If you want to win, it is your job to understand the systems you are in.
Some systems you chose, like X or a golf club.
Some are more automatic, like a country's school system or tax system.
With any system, you're either going to make that system more successful and get a prize, or you can try to fight that system.
Most of the time, it makes no sense to fight the system.
Hence, go for the prize.

You can master only a few things in life.
Chose wisely.
I’m at a Magic the Gathering tournament this weekend. And I lost badly today.
Losing is never fun, don’t fool yourself.
But my aha-moment has nothing to do with the card game. However everything with losing.
Today it became abundantly clear to me that I can’t be great at many things.
You only have a limited amount of energy and mental capacity. It’s limited.
To be good at the tournament level Magic, I would need to put in hours daily.
I don’t want to do that.
That leaves me with pondering with two questions:
1. What is it I want to master in this one life I have?
2. How far am I way from mastery?
There is no need to master anything. But for me it is the second most worthwhile pursuit in life after having a family.

26 years ago, I swore myself never to be normal.
So far, it has led to a spectacular life:
- fell in love with the golf sport at 11
- started smoking cigars at 16
- won the biggest youth championship in golf at 18
- moved to the US without knowing anyone there
- played 5 years on the best college team in the US
- became a golf professional
- didn't make it big, so I quit after 4 years
- worked 70+ hours as a consultant for 2,5 years
- quit my job without any clients lined up
- tripled my income in my first year of freelancing
- invested everything I had in crypto
- lost most of my wealth in NFTs
- still love crypto and NFTs
- became a speaker and lecturer
- recorded 52 podcast episodes in a year
- run a very profitable solopreneur agency
- meditated 600 hours in silent meditation so far
- got engaged with the love of my life
- get the most fulfillment from creating content
Not wanting to be normal has enriched my life tremendously.

We only have this one life.
Let's make it a BIG LIFE.
