Calling all observable lovers!
There’s an important meeting in Dublin next week deciding on the future of observables in the browser, and @BenLesh is going on his own dime to fight the good fight for *cold* observables!
Most attendees are from large companies like Google who cover costs (thousands of dollars), but no one is as important as Ben to make sure we get the design right to make a more resilient web possible. So if you’ve benefitted from his work on rxjs, or care about getting observables done right natively, kick a few bucks to sponsor his advocacy via travel expenses. Venmo: venmo.com/u/BenLesh
ChatGPT... render a chandolier asset for me using Blender. (Sol 6.1 Medium)
It does this all headlessly too. Crazy. I don't know what MeshyAI, et al, are going to do.
I asked ChatGPT (with Sol 6.1 Medium) to create a "section of haunted mansion wall, like a part from the Sims game" using Blender (my local copy on my Windows machine), and a minute later I had this 3D asset. I'm SHOCKED at the outcome. First try too!

🤣fun fact: @vercel's @v0 ships over a kilobyte of @tailwindcss for every button on every page (and has for over a year)...
We’re cooked lol
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard.

One more launch today: the new MCP Events spec is now supported in ChatGPT 🎉
MCP servers can now push real-time updates (messages, comments, status changes, whatever) to ChatGPT, triggering automations for your users 🤯
It’s easy to add to your MCP server, too! Just point Codex at the docs and let it rip:
