A place for advanced TypeScript to call home.

David is as good as it gets. the toppest of top talent. he ships aggressively (just look at ArkType!), innovates (attest), and takes on challenges many others would never have the bravery to even prompt an agent for (ArkRegex).
I'm looking for my next role 👀 TS SDKs, DX, agent tooling. remote/hybrid from Boston. if you've enjoyed ArkType, Standard Schema or my TypeScript perf work, a repost would mean a ton 🙏 ssalbdivad.com

to all the "this was working as intended!" people.. @vercel fixed it. good luck squaring that circle.
🤣fun fact: @vercel's @v0 ships over a kilobyte of @tailwindcss for every button on every page (and has for over a year)...

but the point wasn't about users.. it's interesting to see that some people intuitively understand what's bad about (to phrase it more precisely than the original tweet) _elements having kilobyte-scale classNames_. it's not about gzip/class caching/network tab

so what was the point, then? well. if you don't get it.. not gonna even try at this juncture to overcome the twitter-rage defending tw. if you make great products with tailwind: genuine thumbsup to you, seriously. keep shippin. but maybe also take a peek at what you ship?

Michigan TypeScript retweeted
🫂 to @bradzacher and the typescript-eslint team. Some points I want to make regarding the RFC: * The whole premise is based on . * I believe the typescript-eslint, typescript and the oxc team is open to collaborate with the eslint team. * It's generated by AI. There's a lot of contradicting terms and unverified claims. * The parser is written by AI. I find the code difficult to read and understand. I worry about its conformance against test262 and TypeScript. * The parser has a ts version AND a Rust version, they need to be kept in sync by AI. * The Rust version is unusable in Rust. It cannot be used as a Rust crate.

~60% Fable cost cut by transparently turning the code into an image and having the model OCR it. WILD idea. also hilarious. github.com/teamchong/pxpipe

what the hell is going on with @deno_land. did you notice? the level-up on their videos lately has been pretty incredible. super fun while still very educational. it's so so hard to make a 45-minute technical launch video so enjoyable.. yet here we are...

a few of us at MiTS were talking about this in the context of another company's recent entertaining video with apparently not so accurate database benchmarks and it came up that Deno's had similar levels of fun but apparently without the data integrity issue
