Grateful to the producers and industry leaders who joined Ambassador Callahan for a productive conversation about trade and the key priorities for North Dakota agriculture.
The discussion covered expanding market access for North Dakota products, China’s ag purchase commitments, USMCA review and non tariff trade barriers in Canada, the ongoing Section 301 investigations, beef imports and the need for fair competition at home and abroad.
Getting these trade issues right has huge consequences for North Dakota producers. During this challenging environment with drought, high costs and low prices, growing markets, and enforcing trade deals has even greater urgency.
Thank you to everyone who participated and to Ambassador Callahan for coming to North Dakota to understand our issues and fighting for fair trade deals for American farmers and ranchers.

Corn entering a must hold level 🌽
$4.45 to $4.50 gives back 50% to 61.8% of this entire rally we’ve seen since January
This is where the market usually decides if this is simply a normal pullback or if we starting to roll over
If you’re going to bounce.. this is the spot it needs to happen
$4.45 is the line in the sand. That same level is also that key support from last fall

🚨@NationalCorn: “Corn growers are disgusted, disappointed and disillusioned that after spending years of calling for passage of E15, Congress has again punted, and it has done so in a spectacular weak and offensive way.”
“Bizarrely, members of Congress are now planning to establish a rural energy council to explore this legislation as if we are in the beginning stages of discussing E15. We already have a bill. We already have an agreement with the petroleum industry after months of negotiation. But instead of acting, Congress is now suggesting a process-ridden task force that kicks the can down the road once again. Congress is choosing to leave America’s 500,000 corn farmers behind in favor of a handful of refineries”
