once you play on an OLED ultrawide, its really hard to play on anything else and makes it worth the effort.
There is an absolute shift happening and it's not in favor of PC.
PC gaming sucks and at least more are finally admitting it publicly.

Apple has gone out of its way this year to emphasize its marketing is made by humans, not AI
the fact that otter is listed above figma makes me doubt this list
The seventh edition of our Top 100 Consumer AI Apps is here.
New this time: a revenue leaderboard, alongside the usual web and mobile traffic rankings.
Three years ago we published the first edition. ChatGPT was #1, Claude was unranked, and the entire category was chatbots, image generators, and not much else.
In today's edition:
- ChatGPT still holds the throne, now with 1B+ monthly actives on mobile
- Claude has climbed to #3 on web with nearly 1B monthly visits
- The category has expanded to vibe coding (Lovable, Cursor, Replit), music (Suno), design (Figma), voice (ElevenLabs), video (Higgsfield, Kling), agents (Manus), and even hardware (Plaud)

Behind the napkin
I created a little napkin animation as part of an ad spot focusing on how agencies use @framer - The core idea was that clients often give direction and feedback and its a designers job to make it good. A sketch on a cocktail napkin felt like a cute way to show that. And with Framer you can use photos as reference for the agent to start work on. I'll break down the pieces of this animation:
Hand-drawn website wireframe animation
I drew by hand the sketch of a website in vector, and then in After Effects applied a Roughen Edges effect to make it look like one of those marker pens.
Displacement map from core animation
To make the animation feel like its being drawn on the actual napkin, I made a displacement map from the core wireframe sketch by duplicating and blurring the layers. The more solid indentation is the darker center, while the more blurred bits are the softer indentation.
Bend Deformers, Keyframes, and Signal
Using keyframes to move the napkin in and out of frame, along with bend deformers to curl the napkin, I also added some wobble using a C4D plugin called Signal. This plugin lets you animate with things like Noise to add animations without keyframes. I wanted the napkin to wiggle slightly so that it felt like it was really being drawn on.
