I can agree that crypto is experimental. I can even accept that most of the current chains will fail and the space will be better because of what we learn from these failures.
The thing that annoys me is lessons aren’t being learned. The ability to mine empty blocks got fixed years ago yet most chains still can’t prevent this action.
This is why I Decred!

Can EJ Antoni save the Bureau of Labor Statistics?
The BLS produces inflation and jobs numbers that Americans don’t believe, and that send the Federal Reserve into reckless cycles of recession and inflation.
How @realejantoni plans to fix it.

Sovereignty is one of those debates where there are valid arguments on both sides. imo, sovereignty is needed most when those that have been entrusted are no longer trustworthy.
I also think invisible sovereignty we be something that every individual, family and community will need the most.
They can't control what they can't see, and this applies to every aspect of sovereignty - money, communications, voting power, spending habits, persona preferences.
Sovereignty. What is it? Why do institutions need it? And why can’t the individual have some of it?

it's not really that piracy is good, but intellectual property rights are bad. property rights exist to manage scarcity and information isn't scarce. of course you can protect information by not sharing it with others, but hiring a bunch of gangsters (governments) to kill someone (incarcerate first, but if they rightfully try to resist then murder) after one failed to protect the said information is wrong
