Idk about you guys, but I write because I enjoy writing, and I submit to places that share this same love of writing. Is that not the whole point??
trying to animate a digital drawing for the first time and it’s taking so much trial and error for what is the most simple thing possible, but ahhh I’m having so much fun messing around with it
Preparing to quietly bawl my eyes out in the theater on Friday. 🐳 If the book made me devastated, I already know the movie is going to destroy me.
here is proof that I’m still writing stories, even if they’re itty bitty

there are a thousand tricks for becoming a more disciplined writer, but none of them matter much if you don’t deeply love the act itself.

Issue III submissions open on October 1st!
Keep your eyes peeled for updated submission tips (including our new category: ART) and our Issue II highlights!
I feel kinda goofy calling myself a writer lately because it’s been forever since I’ve finished writing a story, and I have no pieces currently submitted, and I don’t attend readings as often as I used to. I miss contributing and interacting with this community of writers.

If you are submitting AI-written work to literary mags, I have to ask why? Is it for the money? For your resume? To tell your mom? I really don't get it. It's not your own accomplishment if you didn't write it. It's the same as taking credit for someone else's work.
Gotta love how I rekindled my love of reading only a week before grad school sucked my free time down the drain 😭
the vibes I’m bringing to the function:
(the function being Thomasonian’s virtual reading & open mic TODAY at 6PM EST, event 🔗 available at thomasonian.com right before we start)
