Sunday ritual: signing and sigil stamping Book of David preorders before they head out into the world.
If you missed the author-signed + sigil-stamped copies, you can still preorder through Asterism: asterismbooks.com/product/bo…
Hanging out with my basement cousins for another horror movie night. Our first attempt inspired “Deadass,” a story in Book of David about cousins trying to start a new tradition that goes horribly wrong.
We’re trying again. Wish us luck…

Becky's a champion and I'm thrilled she enjoyed my new novel, Haunted Space: Paradise for Extinction. Check out her blog and see if this weird book about space-going monster hunters is a fit for you. #scifi #horror #readingcommunity #BookRecommendations

Love Ben Tanzer's writeup on Book of David. He def got how Lynch informs my writing and my love of horror that exposes the dark, macabre, and general fuckedness beneath everyday life.
We talked about it on This Podcast Will Change Your Life. Out soon...

My idea of a productive evening is apparently staying up way too late watching a horror sequel from 1983 that I’ve been meaning to get around to for about twenty years…

Never expected to see Book of David compared to Denis Johnson’s Jesus’ Son but here we are.
Steve Gergley reviewed my strange little collection of Midwest horror for BRUISER and had some incredibly kind things to say about it. Read the full review here…
