Sharp is building the new standard for first responder job performance with confidential, one-on-one coaching from people who understand the job and the demands that come with it.
Over 115 departments across 18 states, with more than 16,000 booked coaching sessions.
To the chiefs, peer support leads, coaches, and members who helped get us here, thank you. Now we carry the mission forward.
More departments. A better way for first responders to keep getting better throughout their careers.
People sharpen people.

Excited to announce Concentrate AI’s $5.1M pre-seed!
Todd Lieberman and I are launching Concentrate AI (the fifth company we've started together).
Most companies are not in control of their AI spend or the data they’re sending to AI.
@concentrateai solves that.
Why are we building it? What problem does it solve? And why now?

I spent time with Blackstone’s Global Head of Real Estate, Nadeem Meghji, today.
I came away really excited about the scale of data center, energy and infrastructure development that the world will need and how we can work together to do it.
I was also really impressed with what he and Blackstone have built and, more personally, that he also grew up in Canada before moving to the US, like me!

Calling all international students! I wanna help.
I grew up in Hong Kong and spent 18 years in Asia, before moving here in 2020.
Moving from China was hard. Most of the things I was taught growing up didn't translate to success in America. Cultural things, ways of building relationships, methods of doing business, etc.
Anyway, I wanna spend a big chunk of 2025 helping y'all with things like immigrating to the US, find jobs, and general career growth.
Let's do this.

I wanted to do something different at SXSW this year…
Instead of just hosting another tech “networking” event, I wanted to find a more thoughtful way to bring together the tech community to gather, collaborate, and explore new ideas.
So I partnered with old friends, @mateipsatta and @MrAngryPixels from @seeblindspot to create a 4-day experience that took place in a private mansion.
We included:
• Curated meals throughout the day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner by a private chef
• An ongoing podcast running in the background to interview extraordinary people
• A wellness experience that included yoga, cold plunges, a hot tub, and a pool
• Open-house co-working opportunities throughout the day
• Games and activities like poker, spike ball, pool, chess, music room
• We even installed an F1 driving simulator (thanks to VeUP)
• @seeblindspot LED billboard trucks that showcased the brilliant products the founders in Lumos were building (shown to hundreds of people!)
• A tech "party" every night for folks to cool off
𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞.
All this was free. The community doesn't pay a cent. But it's also application-only (you can't buy your way in.)
A “luminary” is an extraordinary individual who positively inspires or influences others. The change-makers, thought leaders, and creators of our generation.
We wanted to fill the house with luminaries: extraordinary, yet kind, and accomplished, yet humble individuals who approached relationships with the mindset of giving first.
In the span of 3 weeks, we received 4,000+ applications. We were shocked!
Attendees included:
• Founders of popular consumer apps that have 70M+ users
• Entrepreneurs who have built companies generating $100M+ in annual revenue
• Early tech operators who have worked directly with CEOs of $500M+ companies
• Creators and writers who generate 100M+ impressions every month
•Young, up-and-coming dropouts who are building the future
Incredibly humbled to have so many remarkable people attend. Thank you for coming.
By providing this space for a global community of builders, tinkerers, and change-makers to gather, we fostered hundreds of relationships, new business ideas, and partnerships.
Given the impact of Lumos House in Austin, we plan to do it again, with the next one in Miami in 3 weeks.
• Miami (April 8 - 12, 2024)
• New York (June 2 - 6, 2024)
• San Francisco (Early October, 2024)
• Los Angeles (Early October, 2024)
Hope to see you there.

The latest Huberman Lab episode is with Becky Kennedy, Ph.D. (@GoodInside) — a clinical psychologist and world expert on parent-child relating and psychology.
Here, she explains her definition of true confidence as exemplified by an experience of someone expressing their lack of understanding of a situation but a clear understanding of self and the deeper psychology of true confidence that is reflected.

Trump & Elon are so much alike. They’re both babies, neither can handle criticism, they’re easily offended, they sue a lot of people & threaten to sue even more, they like to suppress speech, they’re dishonest, they act entitled, and they’re bullies. And all bullies are cowards.
