I checked. It was a bake sale for Palestine that forced Hilary to pull out her daughter from school midway in the year. 🤣 Oh Hilary.

Every morning in Port Arthur, Texas, a teenage girl walked into high school knowing what was waiting for her. They called her pig and freak. Boys threw pennies at her in the hallway and laughed when she bent down to pick them up. In college a fraternity voted her Ugliest Man on Campus. Seven years later that voice was the biggest sound in rock music. Her name was Janis Joplin. In the summer of 1970 she sat down with Dick Cavett on national television with feathers in her hair and a drink in her hand, laughing louder than anyone in the studio. In the video below, she tells him where she's going next. Home, to her ten year high school reunion. The audience laughs because they think she's joking. She means it. She says they laughed her out of class, out of town and out of the state, and now she's going back. Watch her face when she says it. For a second the laugh slips. She went. She walked into her old school in feather boas and pink sunglasses, with reporters following her down the halls. One of them asked if she went to prom. She smiled and said no. She didn't think anybody wanted to take her. Seven weeks later she was found dead, alone in a Los Angeles hotel room. She was 27. A few months after that, Me and Bobby McGee went to number one. It was the only number one hit of her life, and she never heard it on the radio. In her will she left $2,500 for her friends to throw a party in her honor. Did she go back to prove she'd won, or was she still the girl in that hallway, hoping someone would finally ask her to dance?

Murderous dictator Vladimir Putin slaughtered children in a park in Ukraine on Tuesday and Steve Witkoff praised him as a "humanitarian" on Wednesday. If you're not repulsed and disgusted, you just might be a sick and twisted piece of shit yourself.

ā™¦ļø New Mexico should sue TRUMP next. ā™¦ļø There is enough evidence that Trump ORDERED the burial of evidence -- of a SEX-CRIME he committed BEFORE he was President. ā™¦ļø That way SCOTUS has to STFU about it.

Meta’s cuddly spy called Muse has exposed private conversations by making links to shared chats publicly searchable. Predictable. When someone shared a conversation, Meta created a web link with the title of that conversation. Those links ended up in publicly accessible records where strangers could find them. Security firm Claroc discovered more than 6,800 shared conversations with a single search. Some contained sensitive personal and business information, including a loan application, a bank fraud alert and confidential company documents. Anyone who found these links could open the conversations without a password or permission from the person who shared them. Meta says it has suspended the sharing feature, but records of the exposed links remain publicly accessible. šŸ’” Meta should shut down this service. It’s riddled with security vulnerabilities and poses serious risks to everyone’s privacy, including people who don’t use it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t use any of Meta’s products. If someone gives Muse access to their emails, messages or other private accounts, highly sensitive information about you could end up in Meta’s hands without your knowledge or consent. If someone shares conversations you’ve had with them, or talks about you in messages Muse can access, Meta will learn who you know, what you’ve said, what you’re thinking, your emotional state and your personal vulnerabilities. That kind of information is being used to build detailed profiles and social graphs about people who’ve never used Muse or agreed to share anything with Meta. You’d have no way of knowing what information had been collected about you or how it was being used. And because Meta is a US company, information it holds is subject to demands from US authorities. This is an extraordinary invasion of privacy, including the privacy of people who’ve never used the service.

Data centers can power bot farms that flood social media with propaganda, disinformation and fake engagement. Republicans love talking about election integrity. Democrats want regulation and transparency. #RepublicansLoveDataCenters

Regardless of whatever sentence Brendan Nugent receives for attacking Helen Haines I'd be in favor of having his legs surgically removed as a forever reminder of the harm he has inflicted on another human being.* *Unless it's clinically proven he was intellectually incapacitated

Dunno’ what Hanson’s on about? If Boag’s made a decent brew they wouldn’t have to shut down. & beergut Barnaby would know that? Besides, she used party funds to build a shed on Ashby’s farm to start a boutique brewery, which will be opposition to all beers! @abcnews šŸ˜‡šŸ˜‡šŸ˜‡

The High Court of New Zealand has ruled a blanket ban on puberty blockers for trans youth in the country is unlawful. The regulation, due to take effect in December last year, would have prevented doctors from prescribing puberty blockers to new patients experiencing gender dysphoria or gender incongruence. But in a judgment handed down on Wednesday, the court found the Health Minister’s decision was unlawful and the regulations should be set aside. Justice Dale La Hood said it was ā€œa discriminatory and disproportionate responseā€ and there was ā€œoverwhelming clinical supportā€ for the use of puberty blockers to treat gender dysphoria. "Youth requiring treatment for gender dysphoria/incongruence are being denied access to clinically appropriate medicine to which their peers have access for different conditions,ā€ the judgment said. The Professional Association for Transgender Health Aotearoa (PATHA) brought the case against the NZ Ministry of Health over the ban.

😳 Trump loses it and SNAPS at a string of reporters, says Ilhan Omar might "go to jail," calls Somalia "a shit house," and boasts that thanks to a new program he announced today Americans "will make millions of dollars by turning others in" during absolutely deranged Oval Office event Here's a supercut:

Watch the setup, not the show. For seven months they've drilled one word into the base: fraud. ā€œDemocrats steal your money.ā€ Now, there's a federal tip line, cash rewards, and ONE man who decides what counts. Swap "your money" for "your vote" and the machine is already built. That's the tell. The fraud claim signals exactly how they will attack the election in an attempt to ā€œwin.ā€ They will declare enough votes as fraudulent to attempt the steal the election. That’s my bet on one of the most aggressive ways they go about this. ā€œONEā€ of.
