First review is in! It's from the... audience, however, it's quite kind. I'm grateful someone took the time to let me know how the show was for them. #edfringe2024 #EdinburghFringe #seethisshow

It was a queer, bratty summer, the summer they shot off Trump’s ear, and I didn't know what I was doing in New York.

At the @OxGenAI summit and marveling at the expertise on stage and in the room. Each talk presents new perspectives - new opportunities, new challenges - building on the panels that came before. Kudos to the @cassidybereskin-intelligence behind this event 🦾🧠🤍 – at Oxford, England

The lectures are good but the 1:1 conversations have been great. Nothing like learning what (and why) certain insights resonated with the stranger sitting next to you

Once upon a time (31 May 2010), my photo was on the cover of @TIME Thirteen years later, I'm studying these same topics (social networks, data privacy, governance) @OIIOxford... and yet still spending too much time on social media 👩🏼‍💻🤦🏼‍♀️ content.time.com/time/covers…

2022 was a good year for two of my favorite things: travel and books. 🌍 we visited 14 countries (bringing my lifetime total to 23) 📚 I surpassed my @goodreads goal of 75 by reading 93 books (next year I'll aim for 100) I can't wait to see what stories 2023 has in store! 🤩

“Cities are dangerous! Move to the countryside!” My good man, I live in England. Nowhere is more treacherous than the English countryside, where old lady detectives chase murderers, fairies steal babies, Old Man Willow entraps travellers and Herne the Hunter stalks the forests.

ZIZEK: that AI will be the death of learning & so on; to this, I say NO! My student brings me their essay, which has been written by AI, & I plug it into my grading AI, & we are free! While the 'learning' happens, our superego satisfied, we are free now to learn whatever we want

I could marinate in the gleeful moment, the expressions of abject disgust from French/British peers, when I say I attended "Nodre Dayme" 💀🍷
one thing I admire about Midwestern city naming conventions is their willingness to tell the French language that if you’re gonna include all those weird consonants in your words than you better believe they’re all gonna be pronounced

Even though the spam-posting of Wordle on social is a social faux pas, the game & its offspring have brought me such joy this past year. With gratitude & conceit (I can't see myself topping today's score), I retire 🙃🫡 Daily Sequence Octordle #178 3️⃣4️⃣ 5️⃣6️⃣ 7️⃣8️⃣ 9️⃣🔟 Score: 52
