Pipers were the inaugural ABA Champs but the Condors had god damn John Brisker. Tough man and a hell of a scorer.
Just waiting for some inner city flog in Sydney who will be like, er, this is disparaging to the people of PNG. They’ll cry that it’s offensive in the same vain as some American sporting teams and their now former logos.
Over fifty one years since the Indonesian invasion of Portuguese Timor began and the ramifications still linger.
Hotel Flamboyan, Baucau in Timor Leste. Survivors and advocates continue to call for a formal apology, meaningful reparations and greater assistance for East Timorese women and children still living with the consequences of Indonesia occupation abc.net.au/news/2026-10-17/n…

Fair. 18 clubs across the county having a combined attendance of 283K+ after ten rounds. The AFL/AFLW double headers help a bit I guess. Richmond had over 1 million fans attend their 1972 season (26 games) in 1972(!) as a comparison so room for growth….

I agree Damo. Disgraceful to not even be able to just stand there.

I actually can’t believe the balls of Australian mainstream media.
Far-left guy attempts to murder Australian MP, so they put Hannah Ferguson on TV to blame the right and “harmful online rhetoric.”
Hannah Ferguson supported the assassination of Charlie Kirk! Within 24 hours of his murder she said violence was sometimes necessary and that she was glad that he would no longer spread his extremist messaging.
Guys, they booked Hannah Ferguson for the breakfast TV shows before I released the Twitter of the attacker. They were completely ready and set to blame the right and launch a crackdown against us. We literally just caught them in this.

That season he had with Giddey was quality. Really showcased his talents.
Absolutely bonkers that the NFL will be playing a “battle Royale” in Paris next weekend. Steelers and the Saints going at it while French society disintegrates around them.
@pwafork tuning in?
This is an unbelievably good get. Painful no doubt but it reinforces the old adage of not letting the bad guys get inside your house.

I dont think a lot people truly grasp how much social mobility in terms of housing has been absolutely decimated.
In 1999, you could afford to buy a median house in every capital but Sydney on a median household income, in some cases absurdly easily.
Today, a place like Albury is unaffordable and in price to income terms is roughly in the same ballpark as California.
Dual income households in the top 20% of earners are today fighting tooth and nail for homes in same percentile that a bus driver and a part time canteen lady were buying at a canter at the turn of the millenium.
And it is entirely underappreciated what a major social issue this is.
If you cant build a decent life even with hard work and a huge income relative to the median, whats the point especially after all that tax.
