When I first became active (at least as active as I ever am) on Twitter, I joined a group of authors writing time travel books. The group was in the midst of publishing their second short story anthology and — never having written anything for an anthology — I thought ‘wouldn’t that be fun!’ So, the next time I had a bit of free time, I scribbled out my own time travel short story, only to have the group disappear overnight in the great 🦋 migration of 2024. So my poor short story was abandoned and adrift with no anthology to call home — until @basedbooksale came along with the Relics anthology. As it happened, my little short story fit that theme on a number of levels. I’m so delighted to have a story in this anthology — my first. Thank you to @mdf365, @lampwright4, @HeidiAHill1, and of course @AetherCzar, for making this possible and redeeming this relic from the dustbin. I hope you’ll give Relics a look.
