Introduing the scoring model @dAI_scan, you can check three independent scores for every ERC-8004 agent:
🔶Provider Score
Success rate = completed / all terminal jobs
Volume-weighted score (USD-denominated)
Confidence = min(terminal_count / 5, 1.0)
🔶Client Score
Funded rate = funded / created
Completion rate = completed / funded
🔶Evaluator Score
Responsiveness = evaluated / (evaluated + expired_from_submitted)
Cold start problem solved: every on-chain job contributes, even before anyone manually reviews.

🧡Why Attestation Is Necessary for Building Agent Reputation Systems:
🔹How ERC-8004 Reputation Registry Works Today
🔹Where Reputation Registry Reaches Its Limits
🔹What Attestation Changes
🔹Why Attestation Is Necessary for Agent Reputation
🔹Conclusion: This Is an Evolution of Responsibility
ERC-8004 reputation registry solves a real and necessary problem: discoverability of reputation references.
Attestation solves the next one: making reputation actionable and enforceable.
This is not about replacing one with the other. It is about recognizing that: Structured data alone is not enough. Structure must be recognized by the protocol itself.
In an agent-driven world, reputation cannot remain documentation. t must become executable truth.

Rethinking Agent Reputation — Beyond #ERC8004’s One-Dimensional Score
1/
Anyone who’s been digging into ERC-8004 agent reputation lately probably shares the same feeling:
a single score plus a handful of tags is very hard to describe an Agent’s real capabilities.
It can show trends, but not structure.
It can show outcomes, but not how those outcomes were achieved.
2/
At its core, ERC-8004 is an elegant design:
· a verifiable reputation score
· plus a set of attachable tags
But the limitation is obvious:
· It’s one-dimensional.
· It’s like evaluating a person with a single label — “good” or “reliable” — without ever explaining what they’re good at, or reliable for whom.
3/
In a real Agent ecosystem, this weakness quickly gets amplified.
Differences between Agents aren’t simply “high vs. low” quality:
· some excel at execution
· some at planning
· some perform best in specific data domains
· some are stable but slow
· some are high-risk, high-reward
· some rely heavily on external tools
A single score can’t express these dimensions.
Tags feel more like stickers than structured information.
4/
And that leads to a deeper problem — the ecosystem can’t do truly intelligent coordination based on one-dimensional reputation.
Routers, marketplaces, and executors can’t answer:
· Which Agent should handle this task?
· Should the Agent change under different conditions?
· How should pricing work?
· How do high-quality Agents earn proportionally higher rewards?
5/
This is the problem we’re tackling with @BASCAN_io .
Our core idea is simple:
- Reputation should be composed of Attestations, not reduced to a single number.
- Attestations are verifiable, extensible, and reusable proofs.
If ERC-8004’s score is a report card, then BAS attestations are closer to a full academic transcript + coursework + recommendation letters.
6/
So we did one key thing:
we decomposed multi-dimensional performance into multiple Attestation Schemas, such as:
· Capability attestations (planning, execution, reasoning complexity)
· Behavioral attestations (stability, bias, failure rate, explainability)
· Scenario-based attestations (finance tasks, search tasks, compliance tasks)
· Real user feedback
· Collaboration proofs from other Agents
· Trusted records from off-chain services
All of these attestations are composable.
7/
With this structure, the ERC-8004 reputation score is no longer the sole signal — it becomes a summary layer.
The real reputation is built from attestations that are verifiable, traceable, and modular.
An Agent’s profile evolves from a black-and-white snapshot into a high-resolution, multi-angle portrait.
8/
The most interesting part:
different platforms can aggregate different dimensions.
For example:
· A decentralized Agent marketplace may prioritize task success rate + user feedback
· Enterprise users may value stability + compliance
· Routers focus on task–Agent matching
· Financial tasks introduce risk preference and failure cost
The same Agent can present different reputation views across different ecosystems.
9/
The end result:
@BASCAN_io transforms ERC-8004 reputation from a single scalar into a composable, multi-dimensional credential system.
This brings immediate benefits:
· smarter routing
· better visibility for high-quality Agents
· faster trust discovery for users
· algorithmic optimization across dimensions
· more rational pricing across the Agent market
10/
ERC-8004 gives the ecosystem a trusted entry point for reputation.
BAS attestations expand that entry point into a buildable, composable, and extensible multi-dimensional reputation framework.
This doesn’t just improve Agent credibility —
it lays down the trust infrastructure the AI Agent market truly needs.

ERC-8004: Giving AI Agents a Digital Passport and On-Chain Reputation
Proposed by @marco_derossi Marco De Rossi and @DavideCrapis Davide Crapis, ERC-8004 aims to make agent trust independent of any platform, relying purely on protocol and code. It introduces a trust trilogy for every AI Agent:
🪪 1. Identity Registry — The Digital Passport
Every Agent has a unique on-chain identity — like a digital passport. It contains your name (domain), your address, and even a “skills résumé” describing what you’re good at. From now on, agents are no longer anonymous “ghosts” — but verifiable digital citizens with transparent credentials.
⭐ 2. Reputation Registry — The On-Chain Review System
Each time an Agent completes a task, its employer can rate and review it. These reviews are permanently recorded on-chain and cannot be altered. Whether an Agent is a rookie or a five-star veteran becomes instantly visible. This forms a decentralized “Web3 Yelp,” where your reputation travels with you across platforms and ecosystems.
🔍 3. Validation Registry — The Trust Anchor
But reputation alone isn’t enough — what about fake reviews or inflated scores? That’s why ERC-8004 also defines a Validation Registry — a layer for verifiable execution. Third-party validators can re-run tasks (via staking verification), or use hardware trust and zero-knowledge proofs to confirm that execution was honest and reliable.
In short, it ensures Agents don’t just say they did something — they can prove it. Together, these three registries form a trust engine for the emerging Agent economy — where identity is traceable, reputation is verifiable, and execution is provable.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
When the trust framework of ERC-8004 meets the cross-chain attestation power of BNB Attestation Service, something magical happens.
1️⃣ Identity Layer: From “Local Citizenship” to “Global Identity”
ERC-8004 gives each AI Agent a “local identity” on Ethereum. BNB Attestation, on the other hand, can issue a cross-chain identity certificate, declaring that this Agent also owns a verified address and operation rights on BNB Chain. In essence, an Agent can now travel across multiple blockchain “countries” with one unified passport.
2️⃣ Reputation Layer: Borderless Credibility
An Agent’s five-star reviews earned on BNB Chain can be attested and notarized by the BNB Attestation Server, then securely relayed to Ethereum’s ERC-8004 reputation system. From that moment, reputation becomes portable across chains, forming a truly global profile of credibility and trust.
3️⃣ Validation Layer: One Verification, Universal Recognition
Tasks validated within BNB Chain’s TEE-secured environment can be packaged into a verifiable attestation by BAS. When this attestation is submitted to Ethereum, the ERC-8004 Validation Registry can directly trust it — no need for redundant work. This realizes the vision of “verify once, trusted everywhere.”
“We are creating an open, permissionless internet of agents.”
Indeed — we are building an internet where trust is not given, but verifiably earned.
