His song was played at Singapore PM Nathan's state funeral, but not a single Tamil media covered it. Never once played his victim card even if he had every right to. Always dressed in traditional whites clothes as a cultured artist.
TMK is a pretentious rich privileged nepokid who was born with a platinum spoon. He misused the ethos of Carnatic music to sing tributes on EVR who had abuzed Lord Rama. TMK wanted discourse to get to a point where Rama is equalised with a palm tree or a dog. TMK moved courts against singing the full Vande Mataram. Also lobbied for an award named after MS amma who he anyway does not revere. Always tries to be in the limelight with constant media coverage from The Hindu. TMK Does not wear religious symbols, but wears black shirt and lungis to political concerts before singing eulogies on EVR in Abashruti.

Yep, it’s an impressively expensive form of a Mexican standoff. Maybe the greatest marketer in the history of America, impressively bad at business and was only saved by his stupid reality show. He would have been bankrupted had it not been for The Apprentice. Instead, his brand gave him more lending capacity and he tied up banks who all were too scared to pull a thread because it all unravels. Easier to just keep floating the notes instead of the chaos that would ensue. Only other person in modern American politics to be able to sell as much bullshit as him was the communist Obama. Americans are impressively naive, and that’s not unique to either political tribe.

jinnah won 100% of the seats in 1946 from Madras Presidency. While the support from Muslims was widespread across the board, the votes from the Urdu-speakibg Muslim community was much higher than the Tamil-speaking one.
And now Nazia wants Tamil Hindus to follow secularism by avoiding saffron and thiruneeru for Thiruvalluvar.
There is a section among Tamilnadu Muslims called Labbais, and a smaller section called Urdu-speaking Labbais. We are a mix of Urdu and Tamil-speaking people. Many of us have married into Tamil-speaking Muslim families over generations, and Tamil culture is very much a part of our lives.
Even though we speak Urdu, the Tamil culture we have grown up with is deeply imbibed in us.
So to all those doing theses and PhDs on my origin, get it straight..

आज दिनांक 14 ऑक्टोबर 2026 शारदीय नवरात्र महोत्सव श्री शके 1948 ची आजची चतुर्थी तिथी आजच्या तिथीला करवीर निवासिनी महालक्ष्मी अर्थात आई अंबाबाई अष्टमातृकांसह महासरस्वती अर्थात भगवती कात्यायनीच्या रूपात सजली आहे.
महिषासुराचा संहार झाल्यावर सर्व देवांनी देवीकडे वरदान मागितले की पुन्हा ज्या वेळेला एखाद्या दानवाचा आम्हाला त्रास देईल त्यावेळेला तू आमच्या सहाय्यासाठी धावून ये. याच वरदानाला अनुसरून शुंभ आणि निशुंभ नावाच्या दैत्यानी उपद्रव माजवल्यानंतर सर्व देव गंगा किनारी एकत्र येऊन देवीचे स्तवन करू लागले त्यावेळेला देवी पार्वती त्या ठिकाणी आली तिने त्यांना विचारले की तुम्ही कोणाचे स्तवन करत आहात त्यावेळेला पार्वतीच्या शरीरातून महा सरस्वती प्रगट झाली जिने हातामध्ये घंटा त्रिशूल नांगर शंख मुसळ चक्र धनुष्य बाण आणि कमळ धारण केले होते अशा अप्रतिम सौंदर्य खाणी असलेल्या जगदंबेच्या प्रागट्यानंतर पार्वती काली रूपात प्रगट झाली त्यावेळेला देवीच्या या सौंदर्याचं वर्णन चंडमुंड नावाच्या दैत्यांनी शुंभनिशुंभाकडे केले आणि त्यांना सांगितले की तुम्ही या स्त्रीबरोबर विवाह केला पाहिजे त्याप्रमाणे त्या स्त्रीला अर्थात देवीला आणण्यासाठी असुरांनी दूताला पाठवले. देवीने त्याला उलट पावली निरोप घेऊन पाठवले की जो पुरुष मला युद्धात जिंकेल त्याच्याशी विवाह करेन असा माझा पण आहे त्याप्रमाणे माझा निरोप कळवा. दैत्यानी हा निरोप ऐकल्यावर धूम्रलोचन नावाच्या राक्षसाला पाठवले तो केवळ देवीच्या हुंकाराने भस्म झाला त्यानंतर चंडमुंडाला पाठवले या दोघांना भगवती कालीने अर्थात चामुंडेने यमसदनाला पाठवले. यानंतर रक्तबीज नावाचा राक्षस आला त्याच्या रक्ताच्या प्रत्येक थेंबातून नवीन राक्षस तयार होत होता म्हणून देवीच्या सहाय्यासाठी प्रत्येक देवाची शक्ती मूर्तीमंत रूप घेऊन आली ब्रह्माची ब्रम्हाणी शंकराची माहेश्वरी कार्तिकेयाची कौमारी, इंद्राची इंद्राणी नरसिंहाची नारसिंही वराहाची वाराही विष्णूची वैष्णवी आणि शिवदूती चामुंडा अशा आठमातृका युद्धाला आल्या शेवटी महाकालीच्या मदतीने महा सरस्वतीने त्याचा नाश केला त्यानंतर निशुंभ आला निशुंभाचा वध झाल्यावर तू एकटी स्त्री आहेस असं सांगितलं होतंस पण एवढ्या सगळ्या जणी घेऊन तो युद्ध करत आहेस त्यावेळेला देवीने या सगळ्या मातृकांना स्वतःमध्ये सामावून घेतले याच रूपात आज जगदंबेची पूजा साकारली आहे.
देवीचे हे स्वरूप कात्यायन ऋषींच्या आश्रमात प्रगट झाले म्हणून तिला कात्यायनी असे नाव मिळाले ही भगवती कामदुर्गा कात्यायनी भक्तांच्या इच्छा पूर्ण करो हीच तिच्या चरणी प्रार्थना

आज 13 ऑक्टोबर 2026 शारदीय नवरात्र महोत्सव श्री शके 1948 ची तृतीया तिथी नवरात्र महोत्सवाच्या आजच्या तिसऱ्या दिवशी करवीर निवासिनी श्री महालक्ष्मी अर्थात अंबाबाई दुर्गा सप्तशतीच्या अकराव्या अध्यायात जगदंबेने सांगितलेल्या आपल्या भीमादेवी नावाच्या रूपात नटली आहे.
भक्तांच्या रक्षणासाठी मारणारी देवी तर अनेक रूपात आपण पाहतो पण ऋषीमुनींच्या रक्षणासाठी चक्क असुरांना खाऊनच टाकणारी जगदंबा म्हणजे भीमादेवी. भीम याचा अर्थ उग्ररूप देवीने हा अवतार हिमाचलक्षेत्रामध्ये धारण केला ज्या वेळेला दैत्यांनी ऋषीमुनींना त्रास द्यायला सुरुवात केली त्यावेळेला त्यांच्या प्रार्थनेला प्रतिसाद देऊन जगदंबा उग्ररूपात प्रगट झाली. हातामध्ये चंद्रहास नावाचे खड्ग डमरू पानपात्र आणि असुराचे मस्तक धारण करणारी ही देवी नीलवर्णा अशी आहे. तिच्या सुळे दाढा बाहेर आलेल्या असून तिच्या मोठ्या डोळ्यांची शत्रूंना भीती वाटते.
अशीही भीमादेवी कालरात्री एकवीरा अशा नावांनी प्रसिद्ध असून भक्तांच्या इच्छा पूर्ण करणारी देवी म्हणून तिची प्रसिद्धी आहे.
अशी ही कामदा सर्व भक्तांच्या इच्छा पूर्ण करो हीच तिच्या चरणी प्रार्थना

आज दिनांक 12 ऑक्टोबर 2026 शारदीय नवरात्र महोत्सव श्री शके 1948 च्या आजच्या द्वितीया तिथीला करवीर निवासिनी श्री महालक्ष्मी अर्थात आई अंबाबाई आपल्या सर्वस्याद्या स्वरूपात नटली आहे.
विश्वाच्या आरंभी जेव्हा काहीही नव्हते तेव्हा परब्रम्हाने धारण केलेले पहिले सगुण साकार रूप म्हणजे करवीर निवासीनी श्री महालक्ष्मी अर्थात आई अंबाबाई.
देवीने स्वतःच्या तमोगुणातून महाकालीला प्रगट केले तर सत्वगुणांमधून महासरस्वतीला प्रगट केले.
महालक्ष्मीने स्वतः ब्रह्मा आणि लक्ष्मीला प्रगट केले तर महा सरस्वतीने विष्णू आणि गौरीला प्रगट केले महाकालीने भगवान शंकर आणि सरस्वतीला प्रगट केले.
यानंतर या सहा जणांचे आपापसात विवाह करून त्यांचे कार्य नेमून दिले ब्रम्हा आणि सरस्वती यांनी विश्वाचे सृजन करावे विष्णू आणि लक्ष्मी यांनी पालन करावे तर शिव आणि गौरी यांनी संहार करावा.
याप्रमाणे कारण पुरुषांवर विश्वाची जबाबदारी सोपवून आई जगदंबा आत्मानंदात मग्न झाली. विश्वाच्या निर्मितीनंतर भगवान विष्णूंनी जगाच्या जननीसाठी या करवीर क्षेत्राची निर्मिती करवली. तेव्हापासून आई जगदंबा या करवीर क्षेत्री निवास करते आहे आजही मंदिरात देवीच्या उजवीकडे महाकाली तर डावीकडे महा सरस्वती आहे महालक्ष्मी मंदिराच्या देवकोष्टात उत्तराभिमुख व्यंकटेश लक्ष्मी पूर्वाभिमुख कात्यायनी (खरे तर ते स्थान ब्रह्मदेवाचे) तर दक्षिणाभिमुख गौरीशंकर विराजमान आहेत.
संस्कृत मध्ये अंबा म्हणजे आई करवीर निवासिनी अर्थात जगताची आई म्हणून ती अंबाबाई तिला विष्णूची पत्नी ना शिवाची ती जगताची माता अशी सर्वस्याद्या.
ही जगताची आई अंबाबाई तुम्हा आम्हा सर्वांवर अशीच कृपा करो हीच तिच्या चरणी प्रार्थना

You watch a friendly feminizt film about a girl chasing her dreams to be a chef - and voila, the Iyengar girl suddenly changes into a burkha to offer Dua before cooking Biryani for it to come out tasting well.
You did not sign up for any of this. But you had no way to know it beforehand because no mainstream reviewer will tell you these things. You have been pressing play without knowing what you are walking into. You also have no place to look up neutral films which don't have any agenda.
