Nah
Paul McCartney died on November 9th, 1966.
He stormed out of a recording session, drove off into the night, and never came back. It was a car crash. And the three remaining Beatles, staring down the end of the biggest band on Earth, made a choice. They replaced him.
His name is William Campbell. A lookalike who won a Paul McCartney impersonation contest, slid into the most famous band in history, and the world never noticed. Except the Beatles couldn’t live with the secret. So they told you through their music, and hoped you’d hear it.
Play “Revolution 9” backwards. That endless “number nine, number nine” turns into “turn me on, dead man.” Go listen to it, if you don’t believe me.
The Abbey Road cover is a funeral poster. John dressed in white, the priest. Ringo in black, the mourner. George in denim, the gravedigger. And Paul? Barefoot. Out of step with the others. The way bodies are buried in some cultures.
Look closer at that cover and you’ll find the license plate on the car behind them. It reads “28IF.” As in, Paul would have been 28, IF he had lived.
On Sgt. Pepper, the figure they say is Paul wears an arm patch reading “OPD.” Officially Pronounced Dead.
One clue is a coincidence. A dozen of them is a message. And I could go on and on…
But Paul, or William, is still alive today.
So if you really want to know who’s been standing in his place for sixty years… don’t ask me. Ask him.

I’ve supported Arsenal for over 30 years. I’m a season ticket holder and we’re successful.
Yet I’ve never felt more disconnected from the club.
I’ve written about why, and what I miss about the game I fell in love with.

Kay's Bar, Edinburgh 🏴 2nd visit. The answer to guess the fireplace! Truly wonderful pub, each inch a delight. Cask ales, whiskies, cheap, hearty grub. Friendly atmosphere. One of those where a conversation with a stranger is never far away. Makes doing this guide a joy 👍🍻

Koelschip Yard, Glasgow 🏴 2nd visit. If you fancy a step up in beer quality you need to get yourself out here. Easy on public transport. The interior is a slightly uneasy compromise between the pub they inherited and what they'd rather it was but it's pretty good anyway. 👍🍻 – at Glasgow, Scotland

SNL’s “Hegseth and Patel Iran Press Briefing” takes a familiar political ritual, a government official answering questions from reporters, and turns it into a test of how long confidence can survive scrutiny. Colin Jost plays Pete Hegseth, with Aziz Ansari as Kash Patel. The setup is simple: the officials are supposed to explain events, but the briefing becomes a performance in which the answers are part of the problem.

M J Heraghty, Glasgow 🏴 1st visit. Strathbungo district, Southside. Such a great example of why space and how its used makes an oversized impact on how great a pub is. This is like a mini Bow Bar, down to the slim tables. Great atmosphere, lovely interior. It just clicks. 👍🍻 – at Glasgow, Scotland

One of thee opportunities this couple is taking full advantage of while separated by thousands of miles and eight time zones is firing staff via email. No one on one time needed. No pretending to care. No worries about someone coming in and yelling at them. It also doesn't hurt that Daddy is paying all the severance.

What happens when a real political interview is already funnier than a comedy script?
In 2008, SNL found the answer with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Katie Couric.
Nearly 18 years later, Colin Jost has picked it as his favourite cold open. Here’s how the legendary sketch came together.

Remember how exciting it was when your parents randomly decided everyone was going out to eat?
It didn't have to be anywhere fancy.
Just sitting in a booth with your family, ordering your favorite food, and enjoying a night out.
Those little evenings were the best.
