Remember when the hyenas realised all the promises Scar made to them were lies, and he’d destroyed every semblance of normalcy and stability, so they turned around and ate him? Just pointing that out for absolutely no reason at all.

‘Razzle dazzle’ and ‘hugely popular’ vs ‘poison’
Idolised, hugely popular and throwing it all away. The bitter-sweet story of Jack Grealish and Everton ❌ Not the first no-show at Finch Farm 🤨Doubts about re-signing him 🇺🇸 Owners wanted his razzle dazzle 💙Moyes not given up on him #efc dailymail.com/sport/football…

Banning a school from flying a flag that acknowledges a vulnerable community is not going to help you with the cost of living crisis, get you to a doctor sooner, or help your kid land a job. Culture wars & gov over-reach is all the UCP have - on real issues, they have nothing.

Merit-based hiring? From the UCP? Are you kidding? Insecure leaders don’t hire competent people. They hire people who won’t threaten their position. The UCP has spent years pushing competent people out and replacing them with political loyalists. Now they want to lecture Albertans about hiring the best person for the job? This is about saving face with a base that has lost confidence in the UCP. With an AGM looming, court cases mounting and RCMP investigations underway, the Premier needs distractions. Meanwhile, governing takes a backseat. Affordability, healthcare and the issues affecting Albertans every day are left unaddressed. This isn’t about competency. It’s about political survival from a government increasingly out of touch. #ucp #alberta #abpoli #ableg #abtory #cdnpoli
The best person for the job should get the job. Period. Today we tabled legislation that would ensure hiring and promotion decisions in the public sector are based on merit, not DEI policies. Mandatory workplace training will be relevant to the roles and responsibilities of the employee, instead of mandatory DEI sessions. Every Albertan deserves a fair shot, and fairness means everyone competes on the same terms.

Marco Rubio leading Flávio Bolsonaro's escape is the biggest receipt that the US was interfering in the Brazilian’s elections.

Flags first, DEI next. All the moves you make to reassure your base that you are still the one to dance with after leaving them at the door on the independence referendum.

Harry Kane going from football’s most famous trophyless player to a Ballon d’Or winner might be the greatest example of why changing employers can improve your life.

My general advice for using AI for any purpose is to ask yourself: "how do I make what I am doing even more ambitious?" You do this until you either hit a wall and then you know the shape of the frontier (useful!) or you find out that the AI can do more than you think (common!)

Ineos have had 18 managers at Lausanne and Nice!! They’ve owned Lausanne since 2017 and Nice since 2019 that’s 18 managers at two clubs in under 10 years. Omar Berrada and Wilcox aren’t the common denominator here Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos are. Manchester United are already following a similar trend! If you think they’ve got every executive decision and technical decision wrong at all 3 clubs, I’d argue maybe Sir Jim/Ineos are simply difficult to work for because they’re clueless when it comes to football!

Thing is with #MUFC, the people who have the power to sack people are actually the people who need to be sacked.

Man United with one of the worst ownership combos: American capitalists piling debt onto the club and a right-wing British billionaire out of his depth.
Lots of chanting against Glazers and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

It should seriously frighten United fans that Wilcox and Berrada will now choose Manchester United’s new manager. After Ten Hag, Amorim and now Carrick, they are serial failures, out of their depth and clueless about what is needed.

INEOS record at Man United: actively try to replace Ten Hag. Give Ten Hag new contract. Sack Ten Hag. Appoint Amorim. Worst league finish in over 50 years. Sack Amorim. Appoint the interim. Set to sack the interim. The positions of those decision-makers should now be untenable.

There’s something sinister about watching a team caught cheating play week in, week out in a competition where they’ve been found guilty of 114 out of 115 charges. It makes a mockery of the competition and, frankly, makes the whole thing look like a joke.

Sorry, but this is a total farce. Manchester City players, and fans, celebrating wildly like nothing has happened - despite the club being exposed as the worst cheats in football history. What happens if they win the title again this season? That could ruin the Premier League.

The Prophet SAW said the evil eye is worse than black magic. As it could kill a person. Don’t share pictures of your success, food, where you are or anything else. Many people can’t digest it and become jealous. Live a private life and do you. Nobody needs to know your business.

Horrendous statement from UK prime minister Andy Burnham on Manchester City’s Abu Dhabi ownership. 1) As PM he should remain entirely neutral. 2) ‘I can’t intervene *more*’ suggests he already has. 3) ‘The detail’ may demonstrate that losing them would be for the best.

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks. Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
