It caught its own unsupported metrics, fixed them, added regression tests, and verified the final code: → 52/52 tests passed → 0 regressions → 3 verified tests added → 50% fewer direct production dependencies → TypeScript verified → security posture recalibrated from actual audit evidence The agent didn't just build the software.
