Apparently I've been here for 15 years. Interesting how I already have a better time over on 🦋 than I've ever had here.

anyone remember that project someone made where kids colored fish on paper which was then scanned and added to a digital fish tank?

gave it a day to set up app router and migrate a few pages in a @nextjs app aaand i've given up. too many edge cases that are not covered in the docs to make it even remotely worth it.

”nothing wrong with this” jfc
Daniel Vassallo
@dvassallo22 Jun 2024
Nothing wrong with this, and quite clever from @marclou. He is committing to discounting the next X customers. He never claims or implies the discount won’t be extended. Nobody (who is not a hater) is going to complain the discount got extended.

gotta love indie hackers, “don’t think about morality” everyone!
Rohan Gayen
@admiralrohan23 Jun 2024
Nothing wrong with this as long as it is helpful for majority of people. Don't think about morality, think about legality.

and how much are you paying the remix devs to use it? jfc
Ifeora Okechukwu Patrick@isocroft17 May 2024
This is some very insensitive shit to say. How much are you paying me to re-write my code every six months because it's now legacy code cos of how fast and steep things are moving ? Go and touch grass abeg.

now that @taylorswift13 have been in stockholm and experienced the swedish audience it’s time for @jackantonoff to bring @bleachersmusic here as well, otherwise i’ll have to fly to london again

i didn't attend react conf (fuck) but it's pretty incredible to sit at a distance and watch people from all around the react community come together and actually _be a community_, while the weekly twitter discourse might give the impression we're not

Remix v2 is a Vite plugin that makes access to React Router v6 features more convenient through the Route Module API React Router v7 won’t have any new features, it’ll just have a Vite plugin to make the existing features more convenient through the Route Module API
