Hi, @bunq. For the 2nd time in a month, my account has been restricted (pending "security" review) making it impossible for me to pay my bills on time. I have been given no reason for why these restrictions have been put in place. Please explain.

One of my favorite quotes is from Freeman Dyson: "There is a great satisfaction in building good tools for other people to use."
Yet how much of our focus is on creating better tools versus "creating the conditions for the will to change to emerge?"

But mostly this was a spectacular failure of scientific communication. Sanctioning discussion of a theory that's popular and seems intuitive is usually going to backfire. And the "misinformation" label isn't helping.

In the accompanying @Business article, Alloway and Weisenthal run down examples in which executives boast of how real crises - war, climate events, Suez Canal blockages, bird flu - provide ready-made excuses for raising prices and keeping them high:

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but the juxtaposition of “experts” vs “people with lived experience” really irks me. It highlights the deep bias towards preferencing certain ways of knowing over others. People with lived experience *are* experts.
Congratulations to NYC #nurses!
