Ladies, if he's:
Reproducible: Loves you/hates you consistently,
Hermetic: Seals promises tight,
Sandboxed: Knows his boundaries,
Immutable: Steady in core values,
Declarative: Clear about needs,
Garbage collected: Leaves past mistakes behind
then you're dating NixOS, not a man

I genuinely despise Indian politics. The fundamental political issues are not things like "should we raise or lower taxes?" or "how shall we encourage manufacturing?", it's literally all "does my caste or your caste get the government jobs?". It's all so futile.

The reason women love me is because i dont ask them boring questions about work and uninteresting topics.
I captivate them by telling them about sacred looksmaxing techniques ive picked up with my many years of research.
more excited about this than agi
New week new demo! Today I want to showcase the CLI to control the @superlogical multiplexer. The CLI is an extremely powerful tool for automation and hooking into other tools like editors, agentic coding tools, and more. And, it's super fun!
Everything you can do in the GUI, you can do via the CLI. Actually, you can do more in the CLI. You can create sessions, run commands, make splits, move things around, change focus, simulate any input device (key/mouse/etc.), wait on scripts, and more.
There are a couple unique parts of Rex I'm showing off here too: our streaming event system that any client can hook into (or script). And the terminal-specific API to retrieve information like a JSON object of the running process.
I hope this demo lets your imagination run free of where you might slot something like this into your existing tools.

the problem is that in order to make this argument terry had to claim that the *real point* of mathematics is *not* to solve problems but to produce "conceptual understanding and insight" - implicitly, nearly exclusively in the minds of mathematicians, since nearly nobody else can understand what they're doing. this is not how literally any other academic field of study justifies its own existence. physics, chemistry, biology, history, literature, philosophy - academic fields are supposed to produce outputs that matter to the *public*, or else there's no reason they should be supported by the public and public organizations
it is completely reasonable for anyone who's not a mathematician to look at this and ask: why are you guys admitting out loud that solving mathematical problems doesn't accomplish anything directly? what are you spending all your time doing then? if mathematical problems are useless then why aren't you solving problems that actually matter in other fields?
ai psychosis gets the best of us all
BREAKING: Terence Tao and 24 other Fields Medalists just signed a letter telling AI companies they're destroying mathematics
>headlines: AI solves famous math problems
>25 greatest mathematicians respond today
>"we are witnessing a general threat to intellectual work"
>ai labs are treating math problems like a benchmark you can brute force
>“solutions are announced in a rush, leaving no time for a proper writeup and citing relevant previous work of others"
>they're talking about openai
>"this raises severe attribution and plagiarism questions"
>they're definitely talking about openai
>openai offered to put math professor name on navier-stokes proof
>condition: abandon his coauthor bc he works at anthropic
>"the most precious resources of our profession are students and ideas"
>for the labs the most precious resource is GPUs
A Severe Misalignment of AI in Mathematics

The longer I stay in math, the more I realize that Perelman's and Grothendieck's choices were not so irrational after all.

This really is a bonkers fundraising run! But the money was always there. It just needed a place to go that wasn't poisoned by a deep hatred of commerce and capitalism. Omarchy salutes progress and prosperity!
