Only Phil Collins could look like the IT guy at your job while doing this in front of a sold out crowd of 120,000
During this mini Swarla drought, I’ve been revisiting old scenes, and this car scene gets me every time.
I love how Carla seems to look beyond the badge, the authority and the bravado of DS Swain.
She starts to see Lisa, the woman behind the uniform. Not just the detective who’s always in control, but someone with vulnerability, emotions and walls of her own.
There’s something about the way Carla looks at her that makes you wonder if she’s beginning to understand Lisa in a way others don’t. And for someone like Lisa, who seems so used to hiding behind her confidence, being truly seen is everything.
Ali King and Vicky Myers capture so much in the smallest looks and pauses. It’s not just chemistry; it’s that feeling of two people slowly seeing past each other’s defences. #swarla

40 years ago today saw our biggest ever victory over The Bluebirds.
The win was the first game of a 10-match unbeaten run in the league for the Reds - in which we scored 27 goals.
Barry Horne scored twice, with Jim Steel, a penalty from Steve Charles and Steve Massey rounding things off at the Kop end.
Nigel Vaughan grabbed a late consolation for Cardiff, who also had Chris Marustik sent off midway through the second half.
