Apparently I've just wasted 2+ hours and 20+ lines of code on what could have been solved with a question mark.
Got my delegate set up, now just establishing the connection between my ViewController and my DetailView.
My app isn’t crashing anymore! Turns out I’d left some unnecessary inits in the detail view from a previous attempt. On top of that, I’ve set up my delegate and protocol and now am tying it all together in ViewController.
Been (re)reading a lot about delegates and protocols lately. I think I’m finally starting to put the pieces together...
I've got a question for my followers: How long does it normally take you to solve a programming issue?
Been working on this problem for forever now. Trying to get my name and date to show up on my cell in the viewWillDisappear method.
I know this is super late, but here is the video from @RWDevCon I promised!

Many great developers write code in their spare time; many great developers don’t – do what works for you, and what you enjoy, rather than trying to follow a hacker stereotype that isn’t relevant any more.
Hey, guys! I've been tinkering with Auto Layout, and was wondering what constraints would be best for making sure one object stays inside another object?
