I went to see You Can See Everything again today with my son. His reaction was that Elizabeth Holmes shouldn’t be in jail because all the people she defrauded deserved to have ALL of their money taken, not just some of it, for falling for such an obvious scam.
The highlight of my day was waking up to find out I pissed off Whiplash stans by saying it’s a good movie! It is! It’s good! It’s not great though. Too much a run of the mill sports movie to be great.

Had a productive meeting with God earlier. I ended up securing a pretty good sweetheart deal for the meek
Is Damien Chazelle the most recent director that has never made a bad one and each one is better than the last? I think so, but I’m open to suggestions.
I hope they find and permanently jail the first guy that decided barn doors in hotel room bathrooms was a good idea.
I loved You Can See Everything but I am looking forward to the time when film twitter discourse is all about the final scene in Fatherland.

I’m skipping the last day of the Middleburg Film Festival so I can See Everything. Also because I’m really tired after seeing 10 movies in two days.
I just hit movie number 1,000 in my handwritten movie journal (I’m on volume 7) and it happens to be the best movie I’ve seen this year.
