Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America.
This will be the first of many.

The Pi API is officially in beta! 🤖
Many people have already been using it to fine-tune π models for their robots -- below are a few
We’re hoping to expand testing significantly. Let us know if you are interested!

Even a year ago I don't think I would have believed that PI models can run on such a huge range of different robots.

Terence Tao just posted this really insightful thread which seems to have been written in reaction to the Navier Stokes announcement. Please give it a read. mathstodon.xyz/@tao/11723732…

Amazing!
This week, @ActinideInc became the first startup in history to enrich uranium, producing HALEU, the fuel for next-gen and small modular reactors.
We did it using Endurance, a particle accelerator that we designed and built in Texas.
Endurance usually produces enriched Yb-176, a precursor for cancer therapies worth roughly $30,000 per gram.
After a bulk Yb-176 delivery on July 30, we reconfigured Endurance for uranium.
For robotics researchers, evaluation can be the slowest part of their research loop. Manifold makes it the fastest.
Introducing Manifold. The platform for accelerating robotics research with failure analysis that explains itself.
A month of experiments in a week.
Simulate a thousand scenarios in 30 minutes.
Dense labels on every atomic sub-goal and action.
Agents that cluster failure modes across every rollout.
The robotics research loop that moves at the speed of compute.
One eval harness for every benchmark, simulator, or world model. Native support for @NVIDIA’s Isaac Lab Arena.

Ulysses: Blue Frontier
We know more about space than the ocean. Ulysses is building the autonomous subsurface robots that will change how we interact with the sea forever.

SAFE note with $10^100 cap
On this day in 2006, we released the Here It Goes Again music video. This video cost less than $5,000 and was shot in 17 very sweaty takes, but it took us to the Grammys, the VMAs, and to the email inboxes of millions of people (you couldn’t share videos to social media back then).
20 years later, we actually now can share this to social media. Enjoy!

Reminds me of the Travis Kalanick Wii Tennis story:
Travis is an apex predator put on ice in 2017 and only recently reactivated from cryogenic slumber.
Standards for male behavior have moved so far that he's actively perplexed by it.
Our current ecology was last home to performative frat bros nearly a decade ago.
So when Travis tells TBPN he jet skis to work, and Jordi + John ask whether he does his best thinking on the jet ski, he pauses.
You can visibly see him get confused, with an expression like "What the fuck are you guys talking about?"
Then he quite literally voices his frustration: "No guys...it's a fucking notch on the belt. Who else do you know who jet skis to work? Nobody. I'm the guy."
Even the literal technology brothers are incapable of fathoming a man who does things just for the bit.
Travis in 2026 is like the T-rex from Jurassic Park 2 who finds himself in modern day San Diego being like, yo, what the FUCK is this place?
And then just stomps everything in sight.

Replying to @yacineMTB
I was clearly wrong about Anthropic. They are obviously currently the leader in AI. No company has released a model as good as Mythos/Fable and they will undoubtedly have Mythos 2 ready soon.
And I would never cut them off in a way that hurt them badly, even as a competitor. That’s not my style.
Tesla open sourced its patents and we made the Supercharger network available to all competitors, even though we could have made it a walled garden.
SpaceX launches competing satellite systems with no increase in price or use of unfair terms.
Even my worst enemies can attack me on this platform.
