Funny how getting diagnosed with #Autism was less 'oh, I'm not like everyone else', and more 'oh, nobody else is like me'.
it's #MentalHealthAwareness until you see someone walk into a job centre
it's #MentalHealthMatters until someone can't work more than 15 hours a week
it's #BeKind until someone becomes homeless
you cannot support disabled and mentally ill people if you are also classist!!

how is the house of lords still a thing. how are there not one, but hundreds of unelected (largely) old white men playing this role in our society.
I verbally stim quite a lot with certain words/phrases, and because I don't want to disturb people, I tend to whisper while I do it.
My mum just informed me that this is in fact very creepy and she would prefer me to not whisper 😅
