Just finished teaching my first course @StJohnsLaw -- congrats to all the amazing 1Ls on conquering Intro to Law!!! While we didn't take a class photo, here is a blurry snap of me from day one, courtesy of the class recording.
Such an honor (and a joy) teaching the 2024 #NYLEOFellows this summer!!! Thank you for your passion, curiosity, and thoughtfulness.

Excited to (officially) share that I'm joining @StJohnsLaw this summer! While I will deeply miss my @UConnLaw community, I'm looking forward to building community & supporting students alongside new colleagues at this phenomenal institution.
As I was packing up my office, one of my @UConnLaw negotiation students stopped by to snap a photo together and relay some good news!

My LP colleague Rachel Timm and I were officially promoted to Associate Clinical Prof of Law @UConnLaw this April. A photo to mark the occasion!
Posing with one of my students during a busy week of 1L oral arguments @UConnLaw. All smiles as they mark this milestone in their law school careers!

What are the stories judges choose not to tell? In "The Stories We (Don't) Tell" @ashleybinetti of @UConnLaw explains how law profs can use case briefing exercises to encourage students to interrogate racial and socioeconomic oppression in the law. legalwritingjournal.org/arti…

Reviewing 80 student reflection journals for Negotiation. Don't think I've ever been described as someone with a "calm 'yogi' demeanor" (maybe "frenetic Miss Frizzle") . . . but I'll take it!
Thank you, panelists, for sharing your experience with my Negotiation students--helping them bridge theory & practice, hearing about what negotiating looks like in the "real world."

Thank you so much @evelynliamalave for sharing your experience with criminal law negotiations in my class this morning. And filling in at the last minute!!
My 1Ls loved hearing from you.
You are a hero.

UConn Law had a great time at @TheAALS annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Seven members of the faculty and staff participated on panels or gave talks with others in attendance.
As I try to get home from D.C., been stuck on @Amtrak train in NYP for almost 2hrs. No meaningful updates. Toilets in multiple cars stuffed with trash. What is going on??
