If getting a simple seat assignment issue resolved by @VirginAtlantic before my flight is any indication, travel to the UK in August is going to be terrible!
It’s not a complicated issue, it just needs someone who can use their brain and has access to the seat assignment @virginatlantic system.
for those following at home, this is resolved (by going on web chat and saying i’m in the UK and not the rest of the world). It still took a lot more time than necessary and fwiw, @VirginAtlantic still hasn’t really responded to my DM.
Come work with me @rabbiassembly! Or refer your friends!

If you can get past the WSJ paywall, i’m interviewed in this story about the trouble with getting my kiddo signed up for a vaccine: wsj.com/articles/as-kids-und…

It’s 9:30 the night before vaccine hubs for children aged 5 and under are supposed to open in NYC. And this is the scheduling website right now. Unacceptable to put parents through this. – at Manhattan, NY
For those following along with the quest for signing up under 5s for the vaccine, it’s after 9pm and the NYC website is still not operational. So frustrating. It’s not like there have been multiple other vaccine rollouts in the past few years.
You shouldn’t have to physically go to midtown to get this information. And the city should have planned better for making this available. It’s not like vaccine availability couldn’t have been anticipated. @MarkLevineNYC
