You took him from his mother,
You kept him from the sun.
You didn't let him feel the earth,
You didn't let him run.
You cut bits off his body
And caused him so much hurt.
You saw him as a nothing,
Made him live in his own dirt.
You showed him not one kindness,
All he knew was pain.
You hung him up and cut his throat,
You sliced right through his veins.
You stuffed him in your sandwich,
You baked him in your pie,
Then you ate his fear and horror
And you ate his desperate cries.
You killed him for no reason,
Your hands were on the knife.
When you dropped him in your trolley
You took away his life.

As we head to Malawi to establish our GEMS Hub School for Sustainability,we want the world to pay more attention to this. Water is a resource none of us can afford to waste. To drive this home we conducted a walk for water to help children empathize and change their behavior.
This World Water Day, let's pledge to conserve water and stand in solidarity with those who experience water scarcity.
