Anti woke Yorkshireman. I am strongly in favour of Common Sense, Truth, Honesty, Respect, and Decency. This makes me forever ineligible for Public Office.

Sayeeda Warsi – the woman tipped to be Labour’s Islamophobia tsar – is dangerously deluded about the threat of Islamism. When I challenged her, she claimed only about ‘six’ Muslims in the UK are pro-Hamas. Does she live under a rock?, asks Hannah Baldock buff.ly/CB1KiYT

Jim Ratcliffe grew up in a council house. He created a business which has paid the salaries of thousands of staff and millions in tax. You, by contrast, come from a comfortable middle class background. Your career has been in politics and think-tanks. He has done more for this country than you are ever likely to. I understand why, as a Labour MP, you seek to demonise “the Right”. But this is reductive shite.
So much of the right these days just have a massive patriotism problem. This guy: - is a tax exile (left long before this govt) - hates his own country while complaining he doesn’t get big enough subsidies from it - laments the hit to manufacturing driven by a Brexit he supported

Just 3 days to go until @ArcadeDewsbury opens up for its £12m refurbishment. Good to see @KirkleesCouncil getting into the spirit of the occasion and restoring some civic pride to the Town Centre by cleaning the area up for the anticipated media gaze. 🙄

So let’s talk about the five “tragic young lives cut short” on the A66. Because nothing says “heartbreaking loss to the community” quite like a car full of lads with cloned plates, balaclavas in the photo album, and a TikTok history of leading the Old Bill on a merry dance through housing estates before deciding the dual carriageway looks better the wrong way round at 3:30 in the morning. Michael, Theo, Cole, Jacob, Makai. Five names, five sets of parents, and zero net contribution to anything that doesn’t involve blue lights and burnt-out Nissans. Society will not miss them. Not the shopkeepers, not the people who actually pay tax, not the families of the two coppers they turned into roadkill. The only people weeping into their cheap cider are the ones who raised them, and even then it’s mostly performance. Parents should take responsibility. You don’t wake up at 16, 17, 18, 23 and suddenly decide “today feels like a good day for cloned plates and wrong-way suicide by police car.” That starts years earlier when Mum and Dad decide that boundaries are oppressive, that “he’s just a bit lively,” and that the proper response to the third stolen car is another soft interview and a stern look. You produce the product, you own the product. These weren’t angels who took a wrong turn. They were thugs in training, and the training worked perfectly until physics intervened. Two officers, actual useful human beings with wives, kids, shifts to finish are gone because five feral little princes thought the rules didn’t apply to them. And the usual suspects will still try to turn the dead joyriders into victims of “systemic whatever.” Spare me. The system didn’t put them in that Passat. Their parents did, by raising them to believe consequences are for other people. They won’t be missed. The rest of us will just have slightly quieter streets and two fewer good men. That’s the ledger. express.co.uk/news/uk/224164…

When I were a lad, “Far Right” meant people who agreed with Hitler. Today, apparently, “Far Right” means people who voted for Brexit; who don’t hate the UK; who don’t feel guilty for being white; who don’t believe that men can get pregnant; who believe in facts & common sense.

Another complete mess by @KirkleesCouncil cowboys, they lay new turf on the Long Causeway don't bother watering it and just leave it to shrivel up and die. Not to worry the Council taxpayers will pick up the bill for it.

The state of modern journalism captured in one picture, Their own headline says boy thrown into CROCODILE enclosure but yet they use a stock pic of a tiger. Common sense is none existent with this lot. @leedslivenews

Yesterday, they had the company of Iqbal Mohamed MP, a man passionately dedicated to fanatical Israel hatred. What this achieves for the people of Dewsbury and Batley is anyone's guess. 10/12

If you are of the view that millions of your fellow Britons are angry only because they have been “whipped up” by a few right-wing bogeymen, you truly do not understand your own country.

Firebomb attack in Dewsbury Town Centre, 2nd major incident on South Street this year, 50 yards from the Police station. Is the Towns MP Iqbal Mohamed holding meetings with the Police about these incidents? No, he's issuing statements about the trouble 4000 miles away in Kashmir.

Very good point raised by @ZiaYusufUK The culprits who attacked officers in Southampton have been sentenced one week later. One for 2 years & 4 months. When BLM activists threw the Colston statue in the river. Nobody went to prison. This is two-tier justice we’re angry about.

It's the local elections FFS. It's got fu*k all to do with 'zionists,' Gaza or any of that! It's supposed to be about local issues affecting our everyday lives that we pay our council tax towards!

Starmer 2022: "Look, there are only two possible explanations. Either he's trashing the ministerial code, or he is claiming he was repeatedly lied to by his own advisers and did not know what was going on in his own house and his own office. Come off it."
