After 2 years and 4 months, MyFeedIn just crossed 1,000€ MRR.
And I still have a hard time believing it.
I launched it in June 2024 to fix my own problem on LinkedIn.
Since then:
→ 5,811 users
→ 656 customers
→ 26,000€+ generated
→ 280k posts and 405M impressions tracked
But the number I look at most is 108... the number of people who pay for it every month.
The product went from a 10€ lifetime deal, to a 5€ monthly subscription, to 15€ per month today. And in between it became a completely different tool.
So if you're one of those 108, thank you really 🫶
Because you're the ones keeping alive the bet I made in July 2025: stop taking freelance missions, and try to live off my own projects instead.
And today, between MyFeedIn's MRR, the lifetime plans and my other projects, I almost have a salary that’s enough to live on.
Let's be honest, building SaaS products and making a living from them is brutally hard.
Even with an undeniable confidence in my ability to get there, there are days where I doubt myself and I doubt my projects. The doubt is there, and you have to keep working anyway. It almost feels like having two people talking in your head.
And still, I have never doubted for a single second that I’ll end up making a living from my own projects. I’m not exactly there yet, but I know it’s going to happen, and this 1,000€ MRR milestone only makes me believe it more.
It still feels miraculous to me that you can be literally sitting at a restaurant or walking down the street, and a stranger on the internet trusts you enough to pull out their credit card and use one of your tools.
I literally can’t see myself doing anything else. I love this life.
Thank you internet.
And thank you to everyone using MyFeedIn 🤍
Let's keep going 🫡
I still have a hard time realizing I crossed 1,000€ MRR with an interface this bad....
I just spent the whole morning with Opus 5.5 to rework it.
And it’s crazy how much creative you can be when the model is that fast!!

MyFeedIn just passed 6,000 users 🤯
It took 2 years and 4 months, but look at how long each 1,000 took:
→ 0 to 1,000: 307 days
→ 1,000 to 2,000: 172 days
→ 2,000 to 3,000: 158 days
→ 3,000 to 4,000: 121 days
→ 4,000 to 5,000: 62 days
→ 5,000 to 6,000: 31 days
The first thousand users took 10 months. The last thousand took a month.
When you do the right marketing actions, there is a snowball effect. Nothing moves for a long time, and then it goes faster and faster.
Let’s keep going 🫡
If you are having a bad day…
Porsche launched the same day their new car than Tesla!!
Just go take a look at the comments 😂
You can dislike Elon Musk.
But we can all agree that flying cars are pretty cool, right?
Tesla unveiled the new Roadster yesterday, and it jumps and flips in the air thanks to compressed-air thrusters taken straight from SpaceX rockets.
In February, SpaceX acquired xAI, which already owned X. One private company, valued at $1.25 trillion.
And now SpaceX technology is inside a Tesla.
So the real question is:
What would happen if Tesla and SpaceX merge too?
You'd get a single company doing rockets, satellites, cars, batteries, robots and AI models, with an industrial advantage nobody can match on markets that have nothing to do with each other.
That could literally become the biggest company in the world. I can't even imagine what they would be able to build with all of that under one roof.
Do you think it's going to happen?
wtf?? What are people from YC doing on my site??
If you want to become customers and give me your money, my DMs are open 😇
I don't get why people can be so negative. Is it just to get some attention?
All you're getting is bad publicity…
You can challenge someone idea or concept without dragging them down.
Good bye Steven, unfollow 👋
lol so here’s what the headline doesn’t show
he’s charging per email sent not per contact. meanwhile @beehiiv lets you send unlimited times per month for the same price
I have a 50k subscriber newsletter that I send daily.
That’s 1.5M emails a month. That’s $349 on this which is literally more than beehiiv 😭
2 years ago, I created my logo quickly on LogoFast by @marclou
But MyFeedIn crossed 1,000€ MRR yesterday, so it was time to create a real one.
What do you think of the new one??
Does someone know how to fix a ChatGPT plugin when it was not accepted??
It mentions that my MCP has "Configuration unavailable". And I can't understand what I need to upload again (i always get an error)
It’s funny how you think you cooked.. until you rework your dashboard and make it even better
Which one do you prefer?
New week, new goals!
Here's what I want to achieve this week:
→ Cross €1,000 MRR with MyFeedIn (only €30 to go!)
→ Create a YouTube video for SEO/AEO
→ Launch the new version of RedShip
And a few other cool things!
One of the things I love most about indie hacking is having the freedom to work on whatever I want 😏
I don't get why email marketing tools charge you per contact. It makes NO SENSE
A few weeks ago I wanted to set one up on one of my products: for 5,000+ users. The bill was absurd for people who will never pay me.
That's exactly why I'm building Fromly:
👉 fromly.io
📧 Pay per email sent, not per contact stored
🔗 Plugs into your database and your payment provider
🤖 Run the whole thing with an AI agent
Your emails fire on real events:
someone signs up, starts a trial, upgrades, cancels (or custom events).
What I really want is an email tool made for SaaS, built around your user journey.
It's very early, and I'm building it for my own products first. If you run a SaaS, tell me what you'd need and I'll add it.
(PS: the first 1,000 emails are free 🤫)
Bye bye Beehiiv 👋
I vibe-coded my own newsletter platform:
📧 Campaign management w/ editor
🖥️ Web archives (newsletter.marclou.com)
🔗 API support
🫧 List cleanup, deliverability reports
It took a few prompts with Opus 5.5.
I left Beehiiv because they raised prices for the 3rd time in 2 years.
- My first yearly bill was $1,000.
- My future bill would have been $4,000.
Now I'm using AWS SES + MongoDB, and I will pay less than $300/year.
Newsletter platforms charge per subscriber, when in fact the real cost is the number of emails sent. Subscribers will naturally become inactive, so you end up paying more for something that hurts your deliverability (sending to dormant subscribers = spam trap).
So I've set a cleanup cron job for my newsletter alternative. It marks inactive subs as dormant, sends one last re-engaging email, and stops emailing them. Money saved. Deliverability increased.
I also gain a priceless feature: Freedom. I can change the UI, add features, connect all my apps - anything is possible with just a prompt.
I'm replacing Resend next. I love it, but it's very expensive ($400/mo)
