A regular non-Christmas reminder to shop local. 1/3 the cost from #EMCO in #RedDeer compared to @amazonca

On our spring break trip we ended up missing a connection coming home to due a delay. I called @WestJet immediately to get us on the latest connection, they wouldn’t and switched us to one an hour later. Well we missed that one too and by the time I called back for the third…

Alone with two tired kids we didn’t have energy to search elsewhere. I thought @WestJet would reimburse our stay. I submitted all forms for us three and was informed there’s no reimbursement because it wasn’t in their control. But it was, they had the ability to get us on a…

A flight home that day the first time I called and didn’t. Despite my concern and numerous calls during the delay. It’s very disappointing customer service from a company that’s supposedly has wonderful service and why I picked to fly with them.

My concern is not a wandering cat. My concern is what a mess our city is turning into. Focus on the actual issues.

Come on... How is the focus not just on downtown, the inability to attract business investment and crime/homelessness. This is asinine @CityofRedDeer

Canadians are experiencing massive delays at Service Canada locations across the country. After 2 yrs of being unable to travel and missing important life events, Canadians may miss yet another. The govt's lack of foresight is holding Cdns back from living the lives they deserve.
Two and a half months later, we travel in a week and no passport for my child. Despite allowing double the recommended time. Going on 7+ hours on hold over days, to be disconnected and zero assistance. This is not acceptable.

The pharmacy I booked travel covid tests a month ago just cancelled because they are closed that day. Where in Red Deer would have travel covid tests Easter Sunday (we fly out Monday)?

From Premier Kenney Wed night: He says of 708 COVID patients in hospital, 163 have Omicron. Of those Omicron cases, 66 are there primarily for COVID. Of the 80 in ICU, 14 are Omicron, 11 primarily there for COVID. Adds data is preliminary, doesn’t include other variants.

Perhaps just as important, however, hospitalizations are down three to 326, and ICU admissions down four (across the province).

Cool. Citizens spending HOURS for the community & kids to enjoy a holiday & someone has to complain. @CityofRedDeer esp during these “times” these type of things & people should be applauded not reprimanded. Fix this. @CindyJefferies @dianwyntjes @MichaelDawe1 @reddeerlee

This is a Halloween highlight that’s been going for years, and for less than half a day -it can be reasonably up and running. Someone was grumpy and decided to ruin kids Halloween and now a bunch of nonsense may cancel this. I hope our city is better than that though.

The outcome of the municipal election will determine how crime and social issues are handled, the cost and availability of new development and how Red Deer advocate's for itself. It will also effect the time, equalization, and who governs are schools. GOTV!
