Our final keynote speaker is Andrea Liu, who presented her work on tunable matter, essentially defined as the ability to intervene in a collective system to understand its functioning mechanically, with applications ranging from material science to neuroscience.

6/7 This suggests that true capability synergy should not be inferred from scale alone.
Our ongoing research introduces matched-counterfactual validation to determine when an observed gain reflects genuine structural complementarity rather than a statistical aggregation effect.
