Interesting when you think Trump brought the case - the delays are almost like he wishes he never started his fight with @BBC ?
Donald Trump canceled his scheduled Oct. 16 deposition in his lawsuit against the BBC because of "matters of national importance." The BBC alerts the judge that those matters were: a rally in Dalton, Ga. and a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago.

The interview almost suggests she’s now saying she’s fit to be a “transactional lawyer” but has no relevant experience to be a press secretary?

I graduated law school and moved to China to work for a Chinese law firm at around the same time as Katie Zacharia did the same. Here are some of my experiences…
Q: You said Zacharia is an attorney. Where did she pass the bar exam? What state? ZACHARIA: When I moved to China

New: According to a new filing on the docket, President Trump was scheduled to be deposed by lawyers for the BBC THIS FRIDAY. But then after a period of radio silence, Trump's team told the BBC that he is no longer available on that date "due to other matters of national importance." Trump's team proposed the second or third week of January 2027, a month after discovery for the case closes. The BBC is asking the judge "to compel Plaintiff to confirm a date for his deposition, notify the BBC of a secure location where such deposition is possible and any other logistics required to ensure Plaintiff’s safety, and sit for the deposition, as the core rules of discovery require."
