Are you kidding? He is the best President we have had in my entire life, by far. It's a miracle. I just hope it doesn't abruptly go bad.

@voidedpigeon hey, I've been using your kanji app and bought it! On the reading exercises it'd be nice to favourite a word either by long pressing or on the modal. I don't want to go to the next screen to favourite a word.

Europe is maybe two months from passing laws that end private communication as we know it, and folks are looking the other way (understandably.) You’re not going to get a do-over once these laws are passed.

Two major changes: target detection based on risk and require more than one hit to reduce false positives will not have meaningful impact on protection of fundamental rights. 2/10

Sharing a bit more about Reflect Orbital today. @4TristanS and I are developing a constellation of revolutionary satellites to sell sunlight to thousands of solar farms after dark. We think sunlight is the new oil and space is ready to support energy infrastructure. This airborne test was the last piece needed before we launch above the atmosphere. 🧵🧵(1/6)

Massively under-reported science story because there's so much going on right now but...it turns out that we might have figured out what's causing this very scary spike. Quick thread, on how WE'VE BEEN ACCIDENTALLY GEOENGINEERING FOR DECADES...but then we stopped:

This is Thatcher, at the UN, warning the world in 1989 over the impact of climate change - youtube.com/watch?v=VnAzoDtw… You are a sad excuse of a Conservative, how far that party has fallen. You and your cabinet are not fit to sit in her chair or her car. You should be ashamed.

Sam Altman's perspective is that AI could destroy us all, therefore he must be the first create it and control it, so that he can ensure that nothing bad happens to him and his friends. Sam is building a cohesively anti-humanistic top-down system of control because he is afraid.
