An unindexed inscription is just a rock.
Hitting 25,000 uploads on Smriti is a nice headline, but the actual institutional payload is the 6.4 lakh metadata entries built behind them.
Without that cataloging, you don't have an archive—you just have a hard drive full of unsearchable photos.

tbh Indian arms industry is pretty underrated.
SSS Defense (Indian) makes NATO-grade weaponry and even the sights used are made by Tonbo Imaging (another Indian company). Tonbo even supplies the U.S SoF and Navy SEALs, also having deals w/ companies like Beretta, Rafael, ect.
#BREAKING | SSS Defence has won the contract for supplying qty 90 7.62x39mm Assault Rifles to UP Police beating AWEIL.

Good afternoon @anandmahindra sir! I am part of Scimplify, the chemical company you posted about in your tweet :)
We would love to host you at our lab & office and show you what are other cutting edge processes we are working on
The Indian startup ecosystem is on steroids.
And what excites me most is that this isn’t just about software. It’s about deeptech. Manufacturing technology. Hardcore hardware. Cutting-edge chemical processes.
A new generation of Indian entrepreneurs is building the capabilities that could allow us to leapfrog entire stages of technological development.
These videos, courtesy @ashleevance & @RuntimeBRT, offer just a glimpse of what’s being cooked up in labs, workshops & factories across India.
And right on cue, Rajan Anandan, former head of Google India, & Saurabh Srivastava, one of India’s pioneering entrepreneurs & institution builders, have released a book calling India a ‘Lift-Off Nation.’
An apt description.
Because I believe the world is about to witness a tidal wave of technological innovation emerging from India.
And it’s being powered by young entrepreneurs who are daring to build things we once assumed could only be built elsewhere.
My salute to them.

This mantra is of great significance because it is the oldest hint of vArAhI -- i.e., as a metaphor for sarasvatI

the ridge of the mountains with her powerful waves.
Who smites the [hostile] distant ones, for aid with well-formed
incantations, we seek to draw sarasvatI, toward us

Chandrasekhar was born 116 years ago today 🎉
At 19, on the boat from India to Cambridge in 1930, he worked out that a white dwarf above ~1.4 solar masses could not remain stable. Eddington publicly rejected the result. 53 years later, Chandrasekhar won the Nobel Prize for his work on stellar evolution.

Worshipping Divine Mother and Menstruating women entering a temporary period of Ashaucha (ritusl impurity) are not contradictory, but complementary.
Any puja requires the performer to be in a state of Shaucha or ritual purity for it fructify and result in blessings of Devatas. However, menstruation results in a temporary state of Rajas in a woman which is called as Ashaucha or ritual impurity leading to unsuitability and non-fitness to perform ritual activity.
Ashaucha is not a moral judgement, butva ritualistic designation.
