Turns out it was never an issue! 🚀
Just a misalignment of my mental model for how this works. I wrote an article to help clear it up for others 👍

Someone recently asked me about implementing infinite scroll with @yext's Search UI React library. Putting the sample code together was a nice little React lesson 🧵
Then I can add the handleScroll function as a dependency to another useEffect hook to keep my scroll event listener up to date:
This was a fun little challenge with a good use case for useCallback. The complete sample is at this Code Sandbox: codesandbox.io/p/github/apav…

A few weeks ago, I tweeted a thread about developing with the Yext platform. I went a little more in-depth in my new @Medium post link.medium.com/lWqlyZ1v2wb
I've found that if you define your React component props as a TS type at the start of your file, @github copilot will generate some solid scaffolding for your component most of the time
Once I’m done, I can link my Github repo to the Yext Pages CI system. Now every time I push my code, a new deployment will be trigged
Check out how to get started developing with Yext Pages with this new guide that was just published to @YextHitchhikers hitchhikers.yext.com/guides/…
