This clever little module is also a brilliant debut, it's been genuinely fun to be working on it. Back it, it's a deal, and see the instantly iconic Smiley in action for yourself!
years of work in indie rpg has given me the ability to tell when people haven't actually played a game they're talking about, this makes almost everything funnier and more annoying all the time
I'm fairly certain the people who disagree with this are deep lore perverts. I see this often with tabletop stuff too.

115 years ago today, a man arrived in a small Western town and before anyone even learned his name he somehow died eating paste.
The town buried the stranger and gave him a memorial stone. Nobody knew him, but they still wanted the future to know he was here once, he was alive.

I'm not even being ironic. As someone who loves horror, the visceral discomfort stuff like this creates should be admired.

Why spend time making sure your designs look good and believable when you can go to a museum and realise people make the silliest things you've ever seen just because they can

It's funny how much jargon and pondering for GMs there is about How to Weave a Story with the Loom of a Game but then almost nothing deeper than "also make sure it is fun :)" when it comes to thinking about people actually playing them.

You will not get consumers to alter their idea of what a good product is. Their job is to want whatever the fuck they want. Your job is to get there. That's just the nature of creating a product. I can't change that and neither can you.
new black mirror episode seemed like it could either have been a bad episode or a meta thing where it was a bad episode because it was written by ai. there's no evidence for the second idea tbh but that's one they could have used instead.
I want to know how much money Twitter makes from these ads showing you the same amazing contraption over and over until you block the company
after seeing a bunch of people talking about rpg "clocks" I'm just imagining a House episode that opens with someone who's really into indie rpg games being asked to "draw a clock" and that's exactly where everything goes wrong

Had my first OD&D session yesterday, run by @LukeGearing! Had an awesome time with some awesome people.
It was a pretty fucked up dungeon crawl and I drew up some of the events that transpired. Can't wait for the next session!
