In the beginning, all rejections hurt. But then you realize it’s a numbers game and you start to put wins on the board and you feel more vindicated and then you wonder whether you’ll ever be rejected again and then you get rejected again and then you realize that you’ve built something inside of you called resilience and if you’re not getting rejected are you really pushing hard enough and it is then you realize you need to be rejected and it becomes a barometer for ambition and a fuel. 🤷🏼♂️
hit home when @RajasNeve said that as early stage founders, we’re in the business of recruiting users

A 5K felt like a 10-miler :/
I was training for the 2026 @tatamummarathon, but my body wasn’t recovering. Sleep, digestion, energy, and fatigue everything went downhill. I eventually had to surrender the race.
Antriksh and I went full @bryan_johnson mode. WHOOP, yoga, breathwork, NSDR (@hubermanlab), meditation, supplements, strict sleep schedules. More on this here: xitter.cf/RajasNeve/status/20911…
Our recovery routine was becoming a second training plan.
The things that helped the most were the ones that pulled our nervous system out of 'stress' mode and into 'rest and digest'. But when we needed them most, another routine was the last thing we had energy for.
Could we make that easier?
That’s why we’re building @feelglint: a small ear wearable that gently stimulates the vagus nerve, the main line of your rest-and-digest system, through your ear. ~40 minutes a day.
One month in, our WHOOP data vs. our baselines:
• Mean resting HR: down 1.5 bpm
• Recovery score: up ~11.6 points, adjusted for total sleep
Two people. One month. But we feel we’re onto something.
If you train seriously and want to train more consistently while recovering faster, we’re opening an exclusive founding beta cohort for ~25 runners. Your feedback will shape what we build. Details in the link below.

living life like an athlete has unlocked something different in me as a founder
building a company while training for marathons feels like choosing hard mode. both take time and effort, and wanting to do both well has made me careful about where my attention goes
my running plan has tough sessions to push myself and easy runs to build my base. but it's the time in between these runs when the real unlock is happening
i've started thinking about work similarly, and recovery is the part i'm focusing on these days. i've learnt the hard way that another hour at my desk doesn't do much if i'm too drained to think clearly, just as i can't perform at my peak during runs if i'm not feeling fresh and recovered
the tricks that have been working for me: getting into bed at a consistent time, ~7 hours of sleep, and guitar sessions after work. on sundays, i try to think about work as little as possible, and make time for tennis/padel, an old favourite film, or chilling with my friends
